Something I’ve wanted to make for a long while now...

Nimiane is my newest dnd baby. I might have shared her older artwork already, but I'm sure I haven't shared the new design because uh... I just did it lol.

Nimiane is a water genasi raised by a clan of merchant dwarves. Shes a spore druid that ended up as an anthropologist and historical preservationist. Well, the fantasy equivalent anyway. Her old design was just her in a bit of a "city girl" garb. I finally got around to designing her a more armored look, still a city girl, but much more swol cause her strength ain't shabby and she was raised by DWARVES. That girl ain't no push over~

This was another beast to create but I enjoyed every moment of it! This was actually finished in late 2020 but I hadn't posted it here yet for... some reason.

(because I'm horrible at self promotion and put off posting anything about myself or my art--)

ANYWAY. This was commissioned by my boyfriend (was a close friend back then, the boyfriend bit is a new development lol). An old fashioned movie poster, James Bond style, centered around an inside joke with one of our dnd campaigns. Gosh... good times.

"A Cat Named Cake" might seem like a simple children's book, but I was striving to make something that broke down the concept of responsibility for small kids. Cake is a cat with a job to do, and the job seems silly, but she takes it seriously. Sometimes morals are too heavy handed in children's books, so I was trying to create something that was fun and whimsical but could still be used to teach a simple but important concept.

This book, and all others from this publishing house, is DYSLEXIC INCLUSIVE!! It is printed with a font specifically designed by a graphic designer (who also had dyslexia) to make reading easier for those with the condition! How cool is that?!

And this one was commissioned to go along with a much earlier illustration! Remember my surfing satyr in the desert~? She finally has a proper token to go along with her picture! Love herrrrr~~~

So THIS commission was a bit of a doozy lol. My friend asked for a drawing of a VERY traumatic scene our characters went through in a last campaign session. Let's just say, when you encounter an Angel of Rot, you are not leaving completely unscathed...

Custom stained glass commission of @brunetta6 from her boyfriend~!! It's sized to work as a phone wallpaper, and I'm pretty pleased with the results.

My stained glass designs can be fanart from most media, made of original characters, or based off real people with photo reference. They are very fun to make~

Last year for one of my best friends birthdays I created some art for his DnD character. This was a scene from one of our sessions were he slayed this MASSIVE crystal golem. It was a lot of fun to make~

@brunetta6 has been writing a lengthy, angsty, wonderful piece of fanfiction over on AO3 called Three Headed Dog. It's absolutely amazing and I've been lucky enough to help with writing some of it (mostly scenes involving Jester lol)

I was commissioned by her awhile back to draw one of the scenes from the story and I am thrilled with how it turned out!! So enjoy some soft Widojest in a bath on your dash today~

A little bit obsessed with one of my newest DnD characters. Anastasia Gwendolyn Romanov (she prefers Gwen) is a very... Interesting little wizard. Chronurgy magic (I think I spelled that right) is a new school of magic based on time that Matt Mercer designed. My DM let me play with that school and... Welp, couldn't help but give this character my first tragic backstory lol.

And... Gosh I love her.

So... a Cat Named Cake is FINALLY getting published you guys!!!

Recently I shared a post about a children’s book that came out that I had illustrated, called “Matching Costumes”.  What I hadn’t stated then, was that the same publishing company for that book signed a contract with me for Cake!  Cake is officially getting published!!!

It’s taken a long while (due to Covid) before it could be officially printed, but I’m excited to share that the release date is for June 2021!!! I know I’m not the most active artist on here, but to those of you who stayed and quietly supported me... thank you so much.  It’s been a rough ride but I think I’m finally getting somewhere folks~!

Time to eat some cake and celebrate~!!
