Shoutout to Fernand Petiot who worked at the New York Bar in Paris for creating the “Bloody Mary” cocktail in 1921. The Local Oyster used the perfect amount of Vodka and tomato juice to create an amazing brunch drink. What’s better than a late night food spot after you’ve been drinking all day? A LATE NIGHT DRINK SPOT, of course! On a random Wednesday night I went to Avenue Kitchen Market with two of my really close friends for drinks and dinner in Hampden. I had a mule for the very FIRST time & it was absolutely amazing. Our waitress suggested that I ordered the “Spicy Mexican Mule”... and lord spicy was an understatement. Y’all know I love my shit spicy, sometimes extra spicy if I’m feeling a little feisty.

If you’re ever in Baltimore on a random day like us and so happen to drive in the Hampden area this is a must try. Just park your car, sit at the bar and indulge in a drink. The atmosphere gave me “secret date night vibes” for sure so feel free to bring the sneaky link of the week if you must!

It’s nothing better than a little spice to hit off your drink. Spicy Margaritas are the new wave 🌊 If you missed it I feel sorry for you! Recently I purchased Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Limeade juice and decided to make a homemade spicy margarita. READ CAREFULLY... it was absolutely delicious, like unbelievably delicious. It had the perfect hint of spice and lime to make the perfect combination for the margarita. Oh yeah don’t forget the main ingredient... tequilaaaaaaaaaaa! I used 1800 reposado but any tequila will get the job done.
