"Well let’s see…I am a mage that specializes in red mana and my only skill set involves blowing things up and a caffeine addiction." Finn shrugged.
"Exactly. You can show us what to expect, and how to defend ourselves in case of an attack"
Finn let out a sigh. “No offense, but I find that super boring. Unless you have a way to regrow a leg, which I doubt, I am not interested.”
"Perhaps you could offer US something?" Ses raised an eyebrow.
Finn let out a long breath, continuing to look around. “Do you guys do any sciencey stuff around here? Or anything I would find fun?”
"Nothing science but the science of woodshaping, and anatomy for use with our healing magic. We only cover the basics here, however."
Finn looked around. What he saw was confusing. He wasn’t used to seeing another guild’s territory that wasn’t Rakdos or Azorius. “This is….way too quiet.”
He scratched his head, trying to comprehend everything. “So…it’s like this? Quiet and…peaceful?”
"Pretty much. Very peaceful and homey. Anywhere you'd like to see more of?" She stepped forward, more towards the center of the area as many of the guild members turned their heads.
The demoman snorted a little bit. “Sorry, but I don’t see that happening. But you know what, I’ll humor you. Show me the Worldsoul you speak so highly of.”
Luckily, there was a smaller camp nearby. Ses walked with Finn a short distance, as much as she could bear.
The camp was completely outdoors, looking completely out of place with it's limestone structures compared to the typical Ravnican buildings surrounding it. It was very calming, drowning out the sound of city life with its own peaceful musings.
This camp was multipurpose. It was both a place where Ravnicans can come to excersize their religion, and where Selesnyan's could come to train; a sort of outpost.
"Well then Finn, what do you think?"
"Peaceful…" Finn repeated the word, then furrowed his brow. After a few moments of thinking, he shook his head. "My life is pretty peaceful as it is. Except for the losing the leg bit, but I’m pretty ok where I am. I think?"
Ses folded her arms in frustration. "I think if you had a taste of the Worldsoul, you'd change your mind."
"Oh I don’t know. Could be my skill set or the expendable goblin minions. Or I’ve been set like this since I was little. Think it’ she goblins though." Finn shrugged.
Ses shook her head. "How crude."
"Haven't you ever wished your life could be peaceful?"
You three know where I can sign on to the guild of mat' sel?
"We're surprised you aren't aware. Virtually everywhere we have an encampment."
Finn raises an eyebrow. He turned to look at the source of the voice. "Oh...dryad...well I do, but I have my allegiances." He opens up his coat to reveal his Izzet robes. "Sorry, sweetheart. Izzet only for me."
Ses's vigilance was always a gift, and a curse.
"Why would you rather serve a mad dragon than the Mat'Selesnya?"
Finn sat at the bar inside the tavern. He stared blankly at the empty chair in front of him, eventually spacing out. The demoman absentmindedly finished his drink, not snapping out of hit until the bartender wanted to know if he wanted another drink. Finn shook his head and placed some coins on the table. He stood up, gave the bartender a salute, put on his coat and walked outside.
It was a breezy day. Finn pulled the collar of his coat up and walked. His prosthetic wasn’t bothering him that much, but he still had a bit of a limp. Finn let out sigh and looked down, going toward an unknown destination.
Ses walked down the opposite side of the street holding a stack of flyers for her guild. Spotting Finn, she altered her course to move beside him, holding up one of the flyers.
"Excuse me sir, are you familiar with the worldsoul?"
She may not have been as warm as her sisters, but she made up for it with vigilance.
"A Selesnyan would coddle a wolf, teach it to fetch sticks, and call it a dog. We prefer to starve the wolf, let it hunt for its food, and make a stronger wolf."

A more crude approach, but understandable.
