Now that I sad that out loud, I sounded like a deranged Dalek. LOL

Anyway, I deactivated my facebook account yesterday morning and soon after, my twitter account too in the evening.

I don’t really know why I did it. Maybe, because I had an upcoming exam. Maybe I am brokenhearted. Maybe I just want some time away from these social accounts. Maybe I really know the reason and I am just in denial.

The deactivation of my facebook account yesterday is such a fail because I forgot about it by night. I unknowingly logged in to my account on the evening and I realized it too late. As soon as I realized what I had done, I went back to hibernation. I think it was a force of habit because when I open my web browser, the first site that I go to is facebook which is just a sad thing if you think about it.

To vent out my dilemma, I turned to twitter. I made some conversations in there and some things slipped out of my tongue, I guess which soon opted me to deactivate my twitter account too (I’m too lazy to delete those revealing tweets).

Perhaps I got this idea of deactivating my accounts from an old friend who has totally(?) erased himself from the social network (Yes, I’m referring to you, Ethan or Jepoy or whatever name you want to call yourself). I had a problem with something and the only person in my social network who I can talk to about it is this guy. Too bad, he is nowhere to be found in the social media for reasons still unknown to me and his ex-girlfriend. I think he was heartbroken and that’s why he deactivated all his accounts. HAHAHA. Anyway, that is how I got the idea.

Now, tumblr is all I got. Unlike facebook and twitter, there’s no going back if you deactivate your tumblr account. Only a day has passed and I already sort of miss those accounts although I’m pretty sure no one notices my absence anyway. I have a lot of things that I want to post on those social accounts but I just can’t. Perhaps, this will be a good thing ‘cause I can concentrate on my binge watching of TV series. haha

TL;DR I deactivated my facebook and twitter accounts. I miss posting in fb or tweeting but yeah, it has benefits like getting away from the social network world. LOL. I suck at this “TL;DR” thing.
