32 BBY - To'San, Mid Rim. Two months after the Battle of Naboo
Obi-Wan passed one hand through his hair, and found himself once again startled by the soft strands that were growing out of his Padawan cut.
He glanced back at the dejected column under his care, his eyes instinctively going to his padawan - his padawan, Force protect him.
Two rows behind him, Anakin was a perfect image of Jedi composure, marching with his chin high and his shoulders square as he led the Consul’s youngest daughter by the hand. Obi-Wan couldn’t help the quirk of his lips at the contrast with the sheer misery he was radiating in the Force.
After five days of this wretched trudge across To-San’s rugged mountains, Obi-Wan could hardly blame him.
