Hey friends, hope your 4th of July was rockin' -- we can say for certain that ours was! Check out Charlie's compilation of highlights from American Music Festival at FitzGerald's Nightclub this past Friday. Performances by Billy Joe Shaver, Bottle Rockets, Shemekia Copeland, Alejandro Escovedo and yours truly (our first time EVER playing a little CCR for ya too!).

Celebrating ‘Merica and Bloodshot Records 20th Anniversary!
We’re pleased to announce that we’re on the bill for this year’s American Music Festival at FitzGerald’s Niteclub in Berwyn, IL. This show will be extra special, not just because it’s on the 4th of July, but because it is also the official 20th anniversary celebration of Chicago’s favorite, scrappy, independent record label, Bloodshot Records. The lineup will include: Alejandro Escovedo, The Bottle Rockets, Robbie Fulks and Cory Branan. Let the beer floweth accordingly…

Quick Recap After a Fun Memorial Day Weekend!
Some weekends are just a little more rock’n’roll than others, and this past Memorial Day weekend was top-notch in our book! We had a blast opening for Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas on Thursday night at the Double Door.
What a great band! Be sure to catch them at this year’s Riot Fest. Here is a little video highlighting the night:
That’s not all! On Sunday, May 25 we got to get all gussied up for a “Last Night On Earth” prom-themed show at Mayne Stage with the one and only Girl Group Chicago! These gals are not just a band, they are an experience. It’s no wonder that they won Chicago Music Awards titles for “Best New Entertainer” and “Pop Entertainer of the Year” in 2013.
