Labels aren't the definition of a person's character. You come to know them through diversity. I am gay and came out fully about ten years ago. While my mum was very supportive, others weren't so great. I experienced hatred and abuse from those close to me. While coming out was not easy, it led to a life where I could finally be myself and live in my truth. Now I have a very supportive network of friends and am proud to be there for others on their journey to coming out. Happy Coming Out Day.
