mexican american youth: pay attention to the problems in mexico. pay attention to what is going on within the government and how they handle situations. there’s a lot of abuse of power going on, corrupt politicians neglecting the common people,the indigenous uprisings being covered, etc.

it doesnt sit right with me when all we talk about here is all the glamour of mexico, the pyramids, the culture and all this and not focusing on all the bullshit taking place and standing in solidarity with the folk. it just doesnt look right. if you care about the motherland as much as you claim to do, then stand with the people too. not just the fucking aesthetics.
