Figured since I didn't have any big updates yet id show a little preview of Fury's adjusted design. His coat got a few more details on it and his sword gof a complete redesign. Despite the small changes, he's still the same silly smol :3

Small life update!

Sorry I haven't been posting at all. It's uh...been a little crazy these past couple of months ;u;

I think the biggest thing going on right now is that I'm being tested for Autism o3o. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if I've had it this whole time XD

I've also been struggling to find my motivation to draw lately. I haven't even touched anything art related since Iast redesigned Crimson. I'd still like to continue my work, but with everything going on right now, it's kinda hard to pick the pen back up at this moment

I appreciate everyone being patient with me while I get my bearings again :,3 Hope to have something out eventually. I haven't abandoned my AU I promise XD. I still need to redesign 2 other characters

Not rushing it or anything, I'm relearning my limits, but I am pretty proud to say Ive gotten 2 characters finalized with another in the works right now

I'm going to be doing a fresh start for Furytale

It's been almost 7 years now, and I feel like I've accomplished nothing with this AU. No updates on the animation, no recent art, nothing. I've been having a LONG struggle with mental health, and it's been interfering with my work, even to this day. I took one look at my AU, and realized "Damn.. I haven't been working on it". I've decided the AU is going to go under a full reset

This means some designs may change, some story elements may be altered, and some characters may be added/removed. For those who have stuck with me through these past 7 years, I'm sorry I've kept y'all in the dark for so long. I want to get back to work on this AU, but I figured it'd be easier if I started from scratch again

I'll also be making Furytale its own seperate blog from this one. I thought it'd be easier to see its updates from one singular blog instead of a mixed one like this one

I'll make another post once the Furytale blog has been opened. Also want to try posting on my Twitter more (even if Twitter is currently on fire right now)

But my main posts for my au will be here, and my DeviantArt

Hopefully I can bounce back from such a long, long battle

If you guys want the long and short of it, here ya go;

1: the automatic "Opt In" feature has nothing to do with "DreamUp". basically, AI generators have been using DeviantArt as a mine for its images without dA's permission. They have put an "opt in" option on all pictures on their site for these external AI sites. The setting is automatically set to "opt in" because that is literally the default as its always been. Automatic Opt-out is coming, they just need to tinker with it a little.

2: DreamUp is deviantArts Ai art generating program that only sources from deviantArt images that have the "opt in" feature turned on. However, the opt in feature is not directly tied to DreamUp in any way. DreamUp is just a new AI program that actually credits artists as its sources. It's a model dA has implemented to try and set a precedent as to how other AI art programs should work.

3: the people running the dA twitter are shit at communication and there are several mods crying in the discord because they TOLD THEM NOT TO WORD IT THIS WAY. and they ignored them and now there's a shit show.

the only reason I am not showing discord screenshots to back me up is because that is rude and the people in the channel did not consent to that sort of thing.

You have ALWAYS been "opt in" to AI art generators... Without you or dA's permission.

dA is now giving you an option to turn it OFF.

But to put it as automatic off will take time to implement.

I just saw the announcement post in the Deviantart site, and I got so confused because the post literally says they’re NOT using your art. People are freaking out everywhere, and it’s making me second guess myself.
