before i left the fandom, i remember someone making a post about how the gallaghers weren't part of lad culture because they worked with women and loved their mother lol as if that article about the documentary i posted back in the day didn't make it painfully clear that despite their self-made myth and delusions of grandeur the gallaghers' success always depended on the women in their lives. women whose work they happily took credit for and whose contributions they conveniently stopped acknowledging once those women were no longer around.
