Please help my friend Mahmoud if you can. His family continues to live through ordeals one after another. In the past couple of years, he has been struck with shrapnel twice, once in his back and once in his brain, his wife had to undergo cancer treatment for stage 4 cancer on her own, they gave birth to a baby but weren't able to feed him and he starved for days if not weeks, a wall collapsed on their tent and they were stuck under the rubble for 15 minutes before being rescued, and just 2 months ago, their 5 year old son passed away and now they have to pay off the debt they took on to pay for funeral expenses. Please help my friend Mahmoud @mahmoud0qassas

Update since the last time. Mahmoud has nearly run out of formula for his baby, and his children are all suffering from rashes due to lack of access to clean water.

His kids are very hungry.

Suddenly I saw in front of me the Statue of the Faun, the Statue that I love above all others. There was his calm, faintly smiling face; there was his forefinger gently pressed to his lips. In the past I have always thought he meant to warn me of something with that gesture: Be careful! But today it seemed to mean something quite different: Hush! Be comforted! I climbed up on to his Plinth and flung Myself into his Arms, wrapping my arm around his Neck, intertwining my fingers with his Fingers. Safe in his embrace, I wept for my lost Sanity. Great, heaving sobs rose up, almost painfully, from my chest.

Hush! he told me. Be comforted!

I resolve to take better care of Myself.
