Vila-Vily
Aelderfey - High Elves/Light Elves
Londorfey - Wood Elves
A long time ago in the Elder days Before there were people and beasts, before there were forests and hills there was the sea. When the world was made there was nothing but the sea – endless, dark and empty of all life.
Then the Giants helped to pull islands out of the sea and moved them around until they could walk on them. The Ice Giants walked in the North and the Fire Giants walked in the South. Together they made pathways for rivers and stomped down the rock and dirt to make plains and fields. Piled rocks up and up until they reached the skies and so mountains were made.
They made a vast land but bare and empty. There was not a tree, not a bloom nor a blade of grass to be seen. There were only empty deserts of snow and sand.
So some of the Vily were tasked to go, to také with them seeds of great trees and flowers and berries and to grow them and look over them. They took with them beasts as well, the likes of which can no longer be seen these days.
Two brothers were to lead the journey the older one by the name of Aeranlath rode a upon a black stag and was tasked to care for the seeds of plants. Bringing with him abag of seeds from Yrm the world tree upon which the different worlds grow like fruits. So there could in this new realm also grow trees just as great.Arenlath was to decide where what was to be planted so the new realm would be rich in its beauty.
And so not a place would suffer or know starvation
The younger brother Naronwelyn rode upon a white stag and was to look after all the beasts they took with them. Over their journey he grew jelaous of his brother, seeing his task as easier when compared to his own as many of the animals ran off, tried to eat each other or died while his brother only had to look after seeds.
Later in their journey when the two brothers were alone Naronwelyn challenged his brother to an honourable duel. So they did upon their steeds with only the first young trees as witnesses they fought and Aeranlath was slain by his brother.
Naronwelyn came back to the people and the beasts saying that by right he won honourably against his brother and so now he would lead them for the last bit of their journey and then he would be their first king and as they would watch the new world grow they would rule it.
But to one Lyshan the Fox something seemed amiss. Lyshan the fox was Aeranlaths dear friend and advisor, he often traveled between the two groups to make certain all was well. So Lyshan went back to where Naronwelyn said he burried his brother to say farewell and to see for himself.
But when he arrived he saw the state his friends body was left in and he saw the lies in Naronwelyns story for himself. Aeranlaths eyes were missing, so if he wished to return he would not be able to see the way, his tongue was cut out so if he ever return none would believe the things he said, his heart was cut out so if he ever came back it would lead him astray.
Lyshan returned to the Elves and spoke of what he found and what he saw.
Naronwelyn was enraged and he accused Lyshan of disrespecting his brothers gave and said that it was Lyshan who did those things to Aeranlaths body to blame Naronwelyn so he could lead the journey himself. Lyshan argued that Naronwelyn had no right to accuse him of such a thing.
Many took the side of Lyshan and many took the side of Naronwelyn. Great battle occured and many of the beasts were slaid and many of the seeds were lost .
When Lyshan and Naronwelyn fought the bag that held the seeds from Yrm was torn and the seeds fell into the waters or were swept by the wind until only one remained.
Naronwelyn fell in that battle and so did Lyshan. The remaining Aelderfey found the last remaining seed of Yrm and it was by legends planted where Naronwelyn fell in a place where today stands the capital city of Lyndolin where it grew and became the seat of kings.
The Elves that took Lyshans side fled and build their capital either on the grave of Lyshan or Aeranlath was. From this grave grew a tree lesser in size but unlike any other in appereance with bark as red as blood and yellow leaves that never fall.
The Elves were then forbidden to return and become Vily again until such a time came where they found common ground or until the End of all days.
The High Elves (can also be translated as Light Elves) like to call themselves the Aelderfey and dwell in Lyndolin while in Nybelen you can also find High Elves most would rather call themselves Londorfey - Wood Elves.
The Aelderfey believe that they were made to watch over the green and only when they rule over all the lands where forests grow will the world be at peace and prosper as it should.
While the Wood Elves believe that the world should be left to its own divices away from the wrath of steel and fire of the mortal kind.
Video -
Alright so here is some explaration of Elves I am working on these specifically are the High/Wood Elves of Lyndolin and Nybelen.
I will not post the full lore you will have to wait on the video with that but here are some pieces -
*Elves are taller than humans
*High Elves consider cut hair to be shameful so you will almost never see an elf with short/shaved head (those that you see in the pic are just for the exploration) if for whatever reason hair has to be cut/shaved the elf will wear a head covering while in public. (Can be a hood, hat or a simple scarf wrapped around the head)
I ask for 5 minutes of your life so you can watch me draw a werewolf
Werewolves are caused by a curse - Curse of the Beast. Wolf form is not the only one that people can be cursed with but it is by far the most common one.
The cursed individial transforms on the first full moon after being cursed and remains stuck between a form of a world and a person until the curse is either lifted or the individual is killed.
Werewolves are always hungry and in pain making them very aggressive. Despite their pain they keep their intelligence and cunning and gain better night vision and hunter instincts of a wolf
May I offer you a mount?
Decided to give the Wyverns another try so here they are I like them a lot
Due to some recent events I don´t know if I will even post this video so here you can have the art
Some concept art for helmets of one of the factions in my world
I will wait with the lore until I am happy with the design this is just an archive post
Here be Wyverns!
In case you don´t want to hear me talk but still want context -
Northern Wyverns are found from the very edge of the North West to the very edge of the North East these are large bird like predators that are not afraid to snatch a lone child or attack an adult person.
They hunt in male/female pairs (withe chicks) or alone, they are smart and remember people making them quite dangerous but they are also curious and like shiny objects.
They do eat some bones but they keep others specifically they use skulls to decorate their nests as a form of warning to people

Wyverns hunting somewhere in Morhezia - chasing a doe
Humans? More likely than you think!
Children of the Mammoth rider. Humans of Morhezia trace their origin to Mor the Merchant also known as Mor the Mammoth rider who pushed the Elves from the land and established the Kingdom of Morhezia.
Land of Morhezia, land of the antlered bear, home to the children of Mor

Final version of the Sovonik armor depicted in two colored variants - white sleeve, brown sleeve - with and without cape (90% of the time you would see them with the cape) equipped with the Morhezian Longclaw Spear a popular but uncommon weapon among the Morhezian people popularized by the Sovoniks, this one is depicted without a sword or shield but both make the usual equipment of a Sovonik along the Longclaw.
