"Some day fez’s will just walk away at the sight of you, doctor."
"Oh, now on't be silly, Clara, a fez can't walk. And if they could, it certainly wouldn't walk away from me."
Space Pirates
Clara giggled softly as he pulled her off in the direction of the supposed cocktails. She didn’t know that he had left the TARDIS open for any threats.
"How do ye think we get this thing open? Couldn’t be much inside now could there?" One said, looking at the TARDIS in confusion, but then he noticed the door was cracked open. The pirate pulled it open to reveal, it did indeed have quite a lot inside. The pirate smiled, devilishly and went inside the ship, followed by some others.
"Oh!" The Doctor stopped abruptly, dropping her hand. "I forgot--" he brought his palm up to his forehead, sighing. "We have to go back, Clara." They had just about made it to the cocktails when he realized the TARDIS hadn't been locked up, "I left the TARDIS unlocked-- but it might be okay for a while, yeah?" He nodded to Clara, then shook his head, obviously having a debate with himself. "No, we should go back-- what do you think, Clara?"
Space Pirates
She grinned as she looked around at her surroundings. She would never get over this, never in all her life would she get over seeing wonders with the Doctor. She simply couldn’t picture her life without it. Clara looked back at him. “So, where can we get these cocktails?” Little did they know, they were being watched.
Obviously, the Doctor had no idea of his surroundings, or the inhabitants around, he was busy keeping his eyes on hers, only to glance away to notice something fascinating. "This way-- I think. Let's go!" He grabbed her hand and pulled her into the direction of where he thought the cocktails were. He certainly didn't notice the people behind him admiring his blue box.

"Oi! Look what I found-- a fez!"

Clara smiled and nodded her head at the Time Lord as he opened the doors. It was surreal. She had seen the moon landing videos and the depiction of the moon in movies but, this was amazing. She was seeing it for real, and for herself. It was stunning.
"This is real…this is actually properly real."
The Doctor followed her as she stepped out of the TARDIS, his eyes scanning his surroundings before landing back on Clara, he grinned at how stunned she looked. He had been everywhere, with a lot of different people, but seeing her face, now, he couldn't help but watch her as she gazed around.
"Yes, actually properly real."
Space Pirates
"We can go out there?" She asked, with growing excitement. "Wait, is there seriously a place to get cocktails on the moon? People live out there, on the moon?" Clara tilted her head to the side, questioning it. She still couldn’t believe they had finally made it there. It was a pretty exciting thing, to be able to walk on something she could actually see every night from earth.
"Of course we can go out there!" He grinned and pulled on her hand. "People don't live on the moon in your time, but things happen, people make discoveries." Once at the doors to the TARDIS, he glanced at her, "ready?" he asked before pushing the doors open.

"I can't find my apartment and I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Clara, your apartment is just a few blocks down the road— and I just saw you last Wednesday. Are you sick or somethin’?" The back of his hand felt her forehead and her cheeks, "you’re all red."
"Does it ever, ya know, get in the way." Her hand covered her mouth as she tried to snicker subtly.
It took a moment to realize what she had meant, "well-- I-- no it doesn't get in the way." At least, he didn't think it did.

Finally, she would be getting those cocktails on the moon. It took them a while to get around to it but, here they finally were. Clara smiled as he landed the TARDIS upon the lunar suffice. “So this is the moon?” She walked over to look over his shoulder at the monitor.
"This is the moon, Clara Oswald!" He grinned, taking a step away from the scanner so she could have a better look. "Did you want to stay in the TARDIS all day and look at it through the monitor, or did you want to actually see it?" His hands fumbled together animatedly. "Oh! And we also have those cocktails to get to."
"I can't find my apartment and I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Clara, your apartment is just a few blocks down the road— and I just saw you last Wednesday. Are you sick or somethin’?" The back of his hand felt her forehead and her cheeks, "you’re all red."
Clara grabbed hold of him to steady herself. She lifted one hand from the front of his jacket to poke his chin and giggled to herself.
"C’mere," she ordered, snickering when he obliged. "Did you know that you have a very prom-…promininin….you have a big chin." Her face was flushed and hair wild when she widened her eyes to make silly faces at him.
He hands flailed about as she grabbed onto him, "Yes, Clara, I know." His hand rested on her shoulder, "you wouldn't believe how many times I've been told that." Oswin was one of the first. And then his past regeneration mentioned it as well. "Did you want me to take you home?" He smiled at her faces, but still worried for her state at the moment.
"I can't find my apartment and I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Clara, your apartment is just a few blocks down the road— and I just saw you last Wednesday. Are you sick or somethin’?" The back of his hand felt her forehead and her cheeks, "you’re all red."
"I don’t need to sit," she obnoxiously exclaimed. "I’m so steady on my feet," she was pointing at him accusingly, one eye partially closed due to her inhibited state, "I could fly the ship."
Turning too quickly, she fell on top of the control panel and, like a child in a candy store, reached for a lever.
His eyes grew wide, "Clara, no--!" He nearly fell as he stumbled over to her, "don't touch anything." He tried to help her to stand steady while also trying to keep her hands away from the levers. "Oi, it's like dealing with a child." Not that the Doctor had much experience with children.
"I can't find my apartment and I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Clara, your apartment is just a few blocks down the road— and I just saw you last Wednesday. Are you sick or somethin’?" The back of his hand felt her forehead and her cheeks, "you’re all red."
"I’m not drunk," she promised unconvincingly. She brought a hand to her mouth as if she were about to spill a secret that she didn’t want anyone else to hear. "I’m actually very drunk, but don’t tell anyone."
Clara shouted into the infinity of the TARDIS, walking on unsteady legs towards the console.
His brow raised, his voice going to that of a whisper-- as if trying to keep her secret. "Who am I goin' to tell? It's only you and me here," he glanced around the TARDIS, "well, and her of course."
He watched her stumble around the TARDIS, fingers fumbling together, "maybe you should sit?"

"Clara, your apartment is just a few blocks down the road— and I just saw you last Wednesday. Are you sick or somethin’?" The back of his hand felt her forehead and her cheeks, "you’re all red."
"Why’s the TARDIS here anyways?" Clara drunkenly giggled. Propping herself up on the door frame, she leaned in towards him. "Aren’t you gonna invite me in? It’s rude to leave a girl waiting out in the cold." Her eyes narrowed at him before she began laughing hysterically.
He shrugged, "just checkin' up on you." He took a slight step back and outstretched his arm, motioning for her to come in. "Clara," his eyes narrowed as she began to laugh. Leaning closer to her he asked, "are you drunk? Have you been out drinking?"
