Watch the moment when a cellist perfoms amidst devastation
First post. Forever reblog.
My orchestra has become like my second family, and that is always how it should be
The Inspired Cellist
Because the world loves Beethoven (Credits to the KUSC FB page for this amazing find!)
Happy Birthday Beethoven!
Solid proof that cellists are downright crazy badasses! Now that's what I call inspiration #cellist #cellolove #musician #crazy #tiger
Because even patched up from the inside, cellos still produce beautiful sounds that resonate through us.
Spreading my favorite rendition of the Bach Cello Suites as my first post in a very long time. May your ears be no longer be a virgin to Msr. Jean Guihen Queryas.
Got music?
Nothing like fingering some Bach in the morning to start the day.
The Inspired Cellist
If blasting heavy beats from cars is considered music, then blasting classical music from cars should be considered as music of divinity. And if blasting heavy beats from cars is socially acceptable, then blasting classical music should be universally accepted.
The Inspired Cellist
Overtones are often overlooked, but when found, the sweet pure sounds caresses our ears with beauty. Always seek to appreciate and love the people and things around you.
The Inspired Cellist
Happy 258th Birthday Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (January 27, 1758- December 5, 1791).
I cannot write Poetically; I am not a Poet. I cannot arrange my words so artfully that they reflect shadow and light; I am not a painter. I cannot even express my feelings and thoughts through gestures and Pantomimes; I am not a dancer. But I can do it with the sounds of music; I am a Musikus. - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
There's something about physically torturing studies that just was probably not written by a person with normal sized hand. With that being said, conquering those said studies like you owned them makes you feel like accomplishing the impossible. Here's to my new calluses!
The Inspired Cellist
One of the happiest moments in a musician's life is when you can reciprocate your teacher's suggestions right on the spot during a lesson. It makes those hours of practicing and perfecting entirely worthwhile.

Russian pianist, conductor, and composer.
Austrian composer, conductor, and pianist.
365 Birthdays
Instead of the usual resolutions of working out more, losing weight, and "working harder", I made a small proposal to myself that I would post a composer's birthday everyday instead. Surely a potential composer was born everyday right?
