Ok, just a warning :
When I will be able to, I will get to this blog and do a nearly complete reboot. After certain events, I can no longer refer to certain 'plot points' i've roleplayed, thus requiring me to start over.
As for now, the plan is simply to rewrite the 'post Ilias defeat' situation, pretty much setting Luka back to after he woke up from his coma. Interactions and such will be reverted too, sadly, as many of them were based onto those plot points.
My apologies.
Ok, sorry, but I am passing by to inform you that this blog is now on Indefinite Hiatus.
You can find me on my personal and stuff.
Sorry for who I had threads with.
Another Unpopular opinion on Erubite, then, and slimes in general. Although most monster girls prefer more virile males as targets, slimes instead prefer humans with a large amount of body fat, since they have the highest energy density when digested.
Mmmh, I can see where you come from and I can sort of agree. I mean, in the end certain monsters would see people as nothing more as walking food, much like they do with normal animals. For monsters that actually digest their prey, like slimes, this would probably be the case too, as they would literally end up eating all of one person.
Thought, there's to see what exactly the slime gains from this. A Slime girl's body is mostly liquid, sometimes coupled with a core inside of them, so 'dissolving' someone is not always a way for them to feed; there are slimes who do that, and slime who don't, mostly depends on their specific kind. For example, if I am not incorrect, Erubitie refuses to feed onto males in that way, dissolving them both mind, body and conscience rather than feeding on them more than she has to.
So, I would say that I agree with your general idea, yes.
umpopular opinion: conga fucking sucks
"What sucks is your lack of desire to have fun, faceless individual."
Unpopular opinion: Erubite is actually the type of person to get quietly attached to her friends and will worry about them when they're away even if she acts cold in person.

On a personal note, yea, I wish I could see that, but on a bigger view, a true interpretation of Eurubitie is...hard. It is canon that Erubitie can't even be classified as "slime" anime as she has an enormous amount of 'consciences' inside of her, belonging to numerous women and people that were 'worthy' when she ate them. This would probably cause her to have enormous shifts in the way she would act, albeit her power keeps it under control enough to just be simply changes of mood.
I wish she would do that, that's for sure. For her to actually do that, eeeeh. Let's hope Paradox gives us a better interpretation than just 'Cold but ready to blow up slime nuke'
goddess-ilias replied to your post:unpopular opinions? hmm... legs are the best...
"I will have to agree; the legs are indeed the best part of the female form~"
"..."
Nope, he's not going to say anything.
At all.
Maybe that dick anon is in puberty??? I think that'd make sense, with all the sexual innuendos nowadays >_>
"...Y-yea...Just...Ok, let us say that's the reason."
unpopular opinions? hmm... legs are the best fetish
"Why do you want to anger the Monster Lord?"
He doesn't give his opinion on the matter. He likes to have his bones in one piece.
[[Unpopular opinions? I think even giving Granberia sex scenes, if you lose her fights, was simply a waste. She respects strength and skill; why would she even acknowledge Luka enough to rape him if she could trounce him easily? Doesn't make sense. More GranberryXAlma though.]]
I was going to actually give this a good, extended reply.
Then you had to trip all over yourself and add that last phrase.
3 hours into the 'Unpaid overtime' box.

Also, you're forgetting that she also praise bravery. If Luka didn't actually challenge her the first time he saw her, she would have considered him just another of the cowardly knights that had no rights to wield a sword. Luka trying to defend the city when clearly unable to, instead, was an heroic act, which ended up with the dragon deciding to keep an eye on him.
In fact, the first 'losing scenes' are her actually doing nothing more that a little service for him because he tried. Albeit one might consider them not canon at all, as Luka never actually lost against her/losing would mean game over. So, if we wanted to be extremely picky, no sex scenes ever happ--
...
It never happened in the current timeline, at least.
Send me UNPOPULAR opinions (or popular, it doesn't matter) and I'll rate them like this:

"With these questions and my own cold, these days are being kind of tiring..."
(anon that askd about the angel halo working on magic anons) oh very interesting but why does these anons have such random thoghts like using the angel halo on your dick?
"Not-so-repressed masochist urges? How am I supposed to know?"
anon who asked the dick question here. I meant relative to neck (or the torso, which i guess would be the average/medium amount of energy taken per hit). Also, not stab, but forcefully slammed/energy sliced (the thingy where it goes through the body). And for how strong the person with the sword is, let's say around Alice's strength. And also, if you're part angel, then isn't it wierd using a sword made up of 666 angels?
"...Sigh. Yes, Yes it would do a lot. Count that, beside the energy that the sword will cut away, there's the whole 'Pain without wound' part, so even if one managed to not get sealed in one shot, he would surely end up on his knees from the pain. If we then apply to the equation a physical strength similar to the Monster Lord's one, then surely it would deal an enormous amount of damage.
As for whenever or not I feel weird for using a sword made out of angel souls when I'm part angel myself...no, not really. Sure, the sword in itself is weird, but it allowed me to not hurt anyone as I traveled around the world and fought to survive and defeat Ilias. A normal sword wouldn't have allowed me to fight angels, and that would have brought upon us a lot of troubles."
Does it work the same on humans and angels as it does on monsters?
"To an extend. For humans, it depends on how much they are trained and how much they can last in a fight. Much like monsters, they will get sealed if the sword manages to actually take away enough energy, but as humans lack the proper control over their magic pools, it's easier for them to be sealed, and harder to be unsealed. Though, even if harder, all it takes is a bit of time, a day's worth in the worst cases.
For angels, they do not get sealed. Their energy is pretty much infinite as they absorb it from the heavens, and their bodies are practically pure light. If the sword hits them, it does not take energy, but replace it with it's own, which breaks the connection to the heavens till the sword can actually place the seal. Once it is placed, thought, rather than simply minimize or turn the enemy into a less dangerous form, it just breaks them into tiny particles of light, which will immediately run back to heaven and reform into their original form given enough time. For how...cruel it might sound, the sword pretty much 'kills' them without actually killing them, but force them to go through the process of 'spawning' again, which might last a lot if the sword was used by a very powerful individual or the last hit was an extremely powerful one."
If thats how the Angel Halo works, then would accidentaly stabbing yourself in the penis take away more or less energy?
"I don't know if either be offended by your attempt to mock me or by how little of my explanation you've listened at."
does your sword work on every single lifeform that contain magic energy so does your sword tecnicly(horrible grammar) work on magic anons?
"Well...yes and no. You see, while you're not wrong, you're not exactly right either. My sword should be able to seal every living being in general after enough hits, and it doesn't limit itself to work only on those who possess magical energy.
In fact, enemies with strong enough magic are sometimes the only ones immune to it. The Sphinx, for example, is able to break free from the seal immediately, rendering Angel Halo useless against her, and stronger enemies normally remain sealed for a very short time."
"It's a bit complex, but allow me to explain it better how the angel Halo work :In itself, is easy to see that the Angel Halo lacks the properties of a true sword; blunt, not too easy to handle, somewhat heavy, this weapon would be considered more of a bat than an actual sword, but it's special attributes are what you truly should look at.First, when one of my attacks collides with an enemy, this sword doesn't exactly 'hit it', but 'passes through it"; rather than wounding him externally, leaving an open wound, it cuts right past their bodies, cutting away part of their magical energy. It does hurt like a true sword, but rather than leaving what it its with scars and cut limbs, it leaves them 'tired'.
To explain it better, imagine if you were full of energies, ready to run a marathon, and someone slapped you. Rather than leaving the mark of their hand on your face, thought, you just felt the pain of the slap, and a sudden lack of energies; not enough to actually tire you out, but enough to make you feel like you already ran the first mile of said Marathon. You have no physical damage done to you, your cheek isn't cut and you didn't lost any teeth from said slap, but you can distinctly feel like that was indeed the case, when all it's missing is a part of your energy. Once this energy is depleted and you feel very tired, this is when the seal take effect; your body can no longer fight it, therefore it is sealed into a 'less threatening form', until you recover enough of it to break free once again.
Of course, the amount of energy that the sword cuts away depends heavily on a few things.First of all, the user's own power and the strength used with the swing. If I were to just gently tap your head with it, you would feel absolutely nothing; if I tried to slash against you without using any of my sword techniques, you would see a small part of your energies cut off; if I, instead, used any of my cursed sword techniques, you would end up losing much more of it.
Second, where the sword actually hits. Much like a real sword, if I were just to graze against your skin, your energy would just barely be affected, no matter how strong my attack was. On the other side, even a weak attack can do a lot of damage if I were to hit parts like the neck or the waist, as cutting away energies from critical points like those would leave the enemy without breath for a split second and hurt extremely badly. As for armors and shields, against the Angel Halo they don't offer too much protection; as it becomes somewhat 'ethereal' during my swings, it would just go past them easily. Yet, while not stopping the blade, these protections are still able to protect their owners well, as the Angel Halo will lose a part of it's the power generated by the swing when 'impacting' with them.It would be like cutting multiple things stacked one over the other with a single slash of a knife; what lies at top of the stack is the most likely to be cut, but the more things are stacked, the more the knife will lose it's power, as it has more things to go through, to the point where the swing might end up stopping as it's momento and power were too weak to go any further."
"That...should be the basic of it, at least. There are much more elements involved that might change how much effective the sword is, like the race of the enemy, magical enhancements, elements and the like, but those are more advanced and situational parts that one would truly understand only after trying it themselves.
With that in mind, thought, I can say that yes, yes my sword should be able to work onto identity-less individuals, albeit it would depend on whenever or not they store an enormous magical power, like the Sphinx or Page...65537, that's the name, I think. In such case, the seal would probably not last much more than a few seconds, which would render Angel Halo useless."
