literally what fucking basis is there for titan ralsei besides it maybe being sort of cool ????? it doesn't make any goddamned sense PLUS: wouldn't The Knight fucking insta loss her with one swipe of the black knife? the shard that you get for beating The Knight does extra damage to titans and titanspawn. you'd think the black knife would operate the same way.
Hey hey! So as a person who believes in Titan Ralsei theory, let me explain my crazyness.
Back in chapter 4, Ralsei's room has a silhouette that almost exactly matches up to the titan photo in chapter 2.
After you kill the titan in chapter 4, you actually automatically get a level up (unlike every other chapter which you get after you close the fountain) and Ralsei's level up just so happens to put his hp basically the same as the titan (210 and 21000). This fact only cause my eye because Ralsei's hp gain is normally +40(minus lvl 1-2), but from lvl 4-5 it is only +30.
Titans have also been comparing to pincesses "I did clamber my best, but I found no Princess here. Unless, perhaps, this pillar itself is the Princess...". And with the princess Ralsei scene it can actually be cut off by Starwalker, who I have always connected to titans due to the fake Starwalker having wings, and because Starwalker and Ralsei are the only two "darkeners" who dont turn to stone. So it reads as a titan preventing Ralsei from being their true self.
Even more, the fire balls from chapter 5 is nearly the same sprite as the dark flames in chapter 4. Titan Spawn also have some very interesting dialog, which can be seen as being directed towards Kris, I find it more likely that theses are ment for Ralsei.
"When did you start being yourself?"
"It sputtered in a voice like crushed glass." (Check the post I linked to understand the connection between Ralsei and glass)
"Ralsei mutters to himself to stay calm."
Ralsei dehumanizing Titans in a similar way to how he dehumanizes himself, just a little more open about it. Bonus, Ralsei is literally the only character to bring up Titans by name, plus the one panel if the prophecy.
Narrativly, Titan Ralsei is a metaphor for being transfem. You try your hardest to be yourself, only for the prophecy (religion) to tell you that you will be nothing more than a mindless monster who wants nothing but to hurt others.
And also, the Knight does very easily take down Ralsei in one hit, it just doesnt kill her because Titans can only be truly banished by light.
