WARDROBE
Siry Wedding
halfbloodhiggs:
Anna could feel the wind at her back–a reminder of exactly where she was. Sitting on a parapet with the cool night air touching her skin, whatever skin Patrick wasn’t touching. It wasn’t as if she hadn’t thought about sleeping with him before; she’d probably drunkenly tried to talk him into it once or twice. But somehow, on her birthday, it felt like the right time. Like fate was gifting her something fucking nice for a change. She sighed into the kiss, using her legs to wrap around his waist and pull him closer as he deepened their kiss. Her hands gently tangled into his hair, wondering if it were to early to give his hair a little tug. She’d be doing plenty of that later, if she was reading the signs right.
Patrick had certainly not expected that this was how his day was going to go. He’d mailed the necklace the previous day, fully aware that it would arrive that morning for her birthday... but he assumed that would be the end of that. She would go have fun with her friends, and he’d see her again at the next party. Once it became apparent that his assumption wasn’t the case, it had suddenly become a much better day. He felt her legs slowly wrap around his waist, and he obediently stepped forward, smirking slightly against her lips.
halfbloodhiggs:
“You need to study to be a therapist, Pat. I meant that you could charge for life advice right now.” Anna bumped into him again, eyes narrowing to try and hide the amusement that swam through them. “Eh, I’ll just get high with Bert. Life advice is always easier to take and give when you’re a little stoned, you know?” She took one final drag from her cigarette before following his lead and putting hers out. “Who knows? I haven’t much tried an American accent before.” She leaned against the parapet, face turned to watch him as he kept talking. The house names at both schools, she had to admit, were quite weird. “I might be biased, but at least Hufflepuff’s a cute name.” Despite her best efforts not to care, she had a tremendous amount of house pride. Not to the detriment of other houses, but she genuinely thought her house had the best assortment of people. She watched his moon tattoo, before scoffing slightly. “A full moon would not need to be just a black circle. It could be super cool, and I stand by that.” She shifted a little closer. “It’s a nice spot for it, too. It’s not hiding behind anything.” She wasn’t going to mention her own neck tattoo, hiding under her bushy hair. “It was a good impulse. You should follow those more often.”
“I doubt I can do that without some kind of credentials.” Patrick pointed out, raising an eyebrow down at her. As soon as she mentioned Bert though, he frowned, trying to remember who it was - before the image of the other student suddenly sprung to mind. “Oh, yeah, I know Bert. He’s cool.” He shared his blunt when they met. So, yeah, he was cool. “You’ll have to work on it and show me next time.” As she called Hufflepuff cute, however, he let out a laugh. “I hate to break it to you, Higgs, but Hufflepuff’s the worst one. Just like Pukwudgie is the worst one.” He paused, “Just worst in name, though.” He quickly added, realizing how it sounded. “Okay, but you didn’t see the shitty place I went to. But maybe I could get it filled into a full moon sometime, then.” He said offhandedly, not really planning on going through with that. “The fact that you think I don’t follow my impulses means you really don’t know me that well, Higgs.”
halfbloodhiggs:
“Yeah. Can’t miss it now, can you?” It had been a while since Anna had hooked up with someone knew, if she was being honest with herself. While it was comforting to go back to the few friends she had who knew how she ticked, she’d almost forgotten how exhilarating it was, seducing someone for the first time. The ebb and flow of it all felt like sheer electricity. Her eyes stayed trained on him as they just watched each other, taking in the ever-sure smirk on his lips and the way his emerald eyes looked near-catlike in the moonlight. He was beautiful, but she’d known that the first time she saw him. She hardly had time to react to his words, smile growing slightly on her lips, before he was kissing her. Her heart was racing as she moved closer to him, hands moving to cup his face as she moved her lips against him, slight trace of a smile left on her lips as she closed her eyes. He felt warm, exciting, and it was only then that she vaguely remembered her coming onto him one night–him telling her to ask him again when she was sober. Smiling a bit more into the kiss, she let one hand gently move up to play with his hair.
Patrick’s whole time at Hogwarts had practically been spent hooking up with new people... but never Anna. It was this weird thing, she was always drunk, and he never felt like it was the right time... as much as if she’d ever been sober, he never would have hesitated. But now, she seemed sober enough... and she had invited him up to his spot, and there was no longer anything holding him back. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers, his fingers now getting entangled in her hair while his other hand moved only slightly, from her ribs to her waist, while keeping his thumb gently brushing against her breast. His lips moved against hers, deepening the kiss as he gently tugged her closer with the hand on her waist.
halfbloodhiggs:
“Alright. So I’ll owl you.” Anna meant what she said, too–she would be owling him the next time she went out with her friends. Was that what he was at this point? She’d talked to him about August, he’d told her about his mom… He got her a necklace. Friends did all of that, right? But as she guided his hand up her body, watched the way he was looking at her, she wondered if it really mattered what he was to her. He was gorgeous, sweet, and available. Her eyes stayed trained on him as he left his hand where she wanted it, keeping her head tilted to the side. “You want to know a secret about that one?” She tapped the one on her neck once, biting her lip slightly. “It’s my sensitive spot. Guys and girls kept missing it, so… Clear as day, now.” His thumb sent a shock through her body, caught up in the electricity of this moment she’d created. She leaned forward a little closer, letting her hair fall back into place. “Since you won’t tell me you got me the necklace, you should at least kiss me. Call it your birthday gift.”
“And I’ll be there.” Patrick replied with a nod. But, despite the casual tone in his voice, he was fully prepared to attend if she invited him. Why wouldn’t he? She was fun to hang out with... maybe her friends wouldn’t be so bad. Although, Anna seemed like the kind of person who would make friends with anyone. Ergo, getting along with him. His eyebrows raised slightly as she mentioned a secret about her tattoo, before relaxing as she explained. “That must have been an interesting tattoo to get then. But you’re right, it’s a target, now.” He pointed out, smirking more as he saw her reaction to him brushing his thumb against her. As she asked him to kiss her, he watched her for a moment, that smirk ever-present on his face. “I guess I can do that.” He muttered, before immediately moving forward, his hand moving up to push her hair out of her face, as he planted his lips on hers.
halfbloodhiggs:
Anna paused, watching him for a moment. He certainly was stubborn, but if he hadn’t gotten her the necklace, he would’ve said something. Her smile grew a little, and she nodded. “Oh, I know.” He’d always been sweet with her, looking back on it. Walking her back and dealing with her when she was too drunk to handle herself at parties. Scaring Darien off once or twice. “Next time, Clark. I mean it. I’ll drag your ass from the tower. I have plenty of Ravenclaw friends who can let me in.” She settled atop the parapet, hands in her lap, eyes on him for a moment. “You know, did I ever tell you where my tattoo was?” she asked him, reaching for his arm. She remembered how nervous he’d gotten last time she touched him, so she went slowly, reaching for his wrist to bring his hand towards her torso. “It’s pretty big, but it starts about here.” She brought his hand to her lower left ribs, gently dragging it up until he was almost touching her breast, where she stopped abruptly. “Ends about there. Big, see?” She let go of his hand, tilting her head to the side as she moved to push her hair away from the skin there, revealing a smaller Fluxweed leaf tattoo. “There, too.”
Patrick knew that she knew it was him, and yet, he still was too stubborn to admit that it was him who’d sent it to her. The two didn’t really know each other that well... despite the fact that he’d told her about what happened to his mom. It just came spilling out of him, he’d never told anyone before... but it had just seemed so easy. So, getting her a gift that he knew she would like wasn’t that big a deal. Not to him, anyway. “You won’t have to drag me, just send me an owl letting me know. And I’ll be there.” He certainly wasn’t one to turn down a party, and if she’d invited him to this one, he’d have gone - but he wasn’t bothered that she hadn’t. “You didn’t, no...” He said curiously, letting her take his hand and put it against her torso. His gaze moved down momentarily to follow the motion, before scanning back up to her eyes, keeping his hand exactly where she left it as she removed hers to show the other tattoo hiding under her hair. “This one is big, you’re right.” He said, voice soft, as he let his thumb gently move gently along the fabric of her dress, just barely brushing the bottom of her breast.
halfbloodhiggs:
Anna had to admit that he looked quite attractive under the light of the moon. Then again, she thought that anytime she stared too long at someone. Moonlight did something to her; perhaps it was an old romantic spark in her she still carried from when she was a little girl. “I never said that,” she responded with a knowing grin. “But anyone else who knew those tattoos well would’ve taken credit for such a nice gift. You’re the only one I can think of that wouldn’t have.” Thinking back, she was almost sure that if he left her this necklace, that he’d left her candy by her bedside in the Hospital Wing. The thought made her smile grow. “I’m quite fun out, you know.” She knew he’d seen her at parties, especially ones he’d thrown, but she doubted he’d seen her this healthy… ever. Unfortunately for him, she always seemed to be a mess at his parties. She bit her lip slightly as he closed the distance between them, chuckling slightly. “To thank you for my gift. I’m sure it’s you.” She moved to sit upon the parapet, nothing behind her to catch her should she fall. But he was close enough. “And to celebrate the last bits of my birthday, unless you’d rather just walk me back to my room.”
Patrick raised his eyebrows at her words, but then shook his head a little bit. “Well, then I guess you’ll never know for sure.” He wouldn’t directly say that he didn’t do it, but he also didn’t plan on admitting that the necklace was from him. She was the only one at Hogwarts that had seen him be... soft. And soft wasn’t something that he would pride himself on being. “I’m sure it would be. Hogsmeade can be fun. And so can you.” He mostly interacted with her at parties, any other time was just by coincidence that they were spending time in the same areas. However, this time, she’d actually told him to meet her somewhere, which was new. “I’m up for whatever you want to do to celebrate. Got anything in mind?”
halfbloodhiggs:
“Really? No idea?” Anna teased, moving a few steps towards him. The metal was cool to the touch, but it warmed quickly as she played with it. “We were talking about tattoos a few weeks ago, and suddenly an anonymous gift comes on my birthday of one of my tattoos? Pat, I’m not a genius, but I’m no idiot.” She moved a little closer, leaning against the parapet nearby him. She’d have come even closer, but her feet hurt after a night of drinking and dancing with her friends. “If you say so, but I have a feeling Lorcan would’ve liked you. Maybe next time.” The necklace had been a surprise, but he wasn’t denying that he did it. It was sweet, that he’d thought about her on her birthday. She hadn’t been expecting that, but it’d made her want to see him again. Made her wonder how sweet he could be. “You could, but the night’s not over yet. I didn’t owl you here just for you to walk me to my room, Pat.”
“None, at all.” Patrick continued, his voice matching her teasing tone. He kept his eyes trained on hers, feeling his shoulders shrug as she continued to plead the case that it was him who bought the necklace. “You’re telling me that no one else knows what your tattoos are? No one else would get you something that you have a tattoo of?” He pointed out, watching as she moved even closer to him. “Maybe next time.” He agreed softly, but he couldn’t help but wonder what she had owled him there for. He had a sneaking suspicion, but there was that old phrase about assuming things. “Yeah? So why did you bring me here, Higgs?” He asked with a tone of fake curiosity, taking the last couple of steps forward, and effectively closing most of the distance between them.
halfbloodhiggs:
Anna was toying around with the necklace when she heard Pat’s voice behind her. “Thanks, Quadpot,” she teased, moving to brush some of her hair out of her face. It was a bit of a mess; her night out had left it a little bushier than she would’ve liked. Her makeup was fading. Surprisingly, however, she was sober. She’d made sure to sober up before she left for the castle, apologizing to friends as she found her way up to his secret spot. Her hand moved down to the necklace, letting the gold of it dance in the moonlight. “It’s pretty, Pat.” Because she’d known it was him. It had taken a while, of course, to narrow down her list, but anyone else who would’ve gotten her such a nice gift would’ve taken the credit for it. Perhaps it was just a gut feeling she needed to follow, but she knew it was him. “You should’ve told me it was you, you know. I could’ve invited you out for drinks with everyone.” That had been hours ago, as she’d asked him to meet her quite late. “You could’ve walked me home like you used to.”
Patrick chuckled at her nickname for him and he continued to lean against the frame of the door, watching her for a moment. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” He said first, but he was glad to see her wearing the necklace - and that she was calling it pretty. He really hadn’t intended on buying her a birthday gift, but upon seeing it in Hogsmeade... he couldn’t help it, it just screamed out at him as being something she needed to have. “I don’t know most of your friends, it’d have been weird.” He was all for a party, but he didn’t think her friends would like him very much - although, he wasn’t sure who she hung out with on an every day basis, maybe he would be completely wrong. “I could still do that, we’re not exactly in your room.” He pointed out, finally pushing himself off the wall of the entrance to stand closer to her.
@halfbloodhiggs
Patrick had known that it was Anna’s birthday - only because he’d heard someone else mention it, but that was beside the point. He hadn’t planned on seeing her, figuring that she had people she was closer to that she would want to spend her time with... after all, he’d sent her a gift, but it was anonymous. He specifically made sure not to write his name, and sent it using a random owl. He assumed she wouldn’t be able to figure it out.
However, despite not expecting to see her, he received an owl partway through the evening, telling him to meet her up in his spot in the tower. So, when the time rolled around, he made sure his cat was inside his room so he couldn’t get out while he was gone, before heading towards the tower. It didn’t take him long to arrive, but when he rounded the corner and onto the balcony, he smiled, seeing that she was already there.
“Happy birthday.”

Bert nodded slightly as he leaned over the fence slightly, looking down at the ground far below them. “Yeah, some aren’t entirely bad, but it’s just not as fun.” Well, not like he particularly enjoyed spending time with people, he’d rather stay in his dorm, but he had a few moments when he didn’t mind it much. And usually, he wasn’t sober. “It’s a deal, Patty Pat.” He joked as he took the blunt back, taking a puff from it.
Patrick shrugged a bit. “I guess, just depends on the person.” He admitted. Usually if they just didn’t smoke themselves, it was fine - it was when the judgement came in that he wouldn’t spend any time with them at all. It just wasn’t worth it. “God, that counts.” He said with a roll of his eyes, letting out a chuckle. He supposed he could tolerate the nickname, though, from someone who was sharing pot with him.
vivianvane:
“Oh I wish. I just have this need for everything to be how I need it to be. I don’t particularly like things that I can’t control.” The girl shrugged her shoulders.
“See, I don’t care if I have that much control. I just want to finish school and get out of here.” Technically, this part of school wasn’t mandatory, it was optional... but it was better to do more and get a decent job, than to go back home and live with his father.
phinparkinson:
“I will, keep that in mind. Thanks. I’m uh, Phineas by the way, but call me Phin.” At his comment, Phin’s eyebrows shot up. “What do you mean by that?”
“Gotcha, Phin.” He said first, taking another sip. “I’m Patrick, nice to meet you.” He felt a smirk grace his face as Phin’s eyebrows shot up, and he shrugged. “I mean, a lot of shit seems to go down here. More than normal for a school.”
cainabbott:
A smirk slipped onto the boy’s lips as he watched the other’s gaze. “You know,” Cain murmured, stepping closer to the other, “If you want to fuck me, all you gotta do is say so.”
Patrick’s own smirk grew as Cain took a step towards him, and a single eyebrow raised, his eyes meeting his again. “Alright,” he said first, taking a step himself to close any additional distance between them, “I want to fuck you.”
puermedioblack:
“I suppose that makes sense. What’s quadpot? I’ve never heard of that.” Andromeda’s brows furrowed together. “Well that’s a shame. Hogwarts isn’t all bad.”
“What’s quad--” Patrick blinked at her, face turning to horror. “You do have it it in the UK, how have you never heard of it?” He asked, completely shocked. “It’s another sport. On brooms. Makes a lot more sense.” But as she mentioned Hogwarts again he shrugged. “It’s alright, sometimes.”
bertiebertaubrey:
Bertram let out a small chuckle as the other spoke, letting his hand slip inside his pocket when he took the blunt. “Yeah, by experience, no one says no to that.” He commented, letting a small smile appear on his face. “Bertram, and please don’t call me Bertie Botts like my so called best friend. But, it’s nice to meet you.”
Patrick brought the blunt to his lips and inhaled, nodding a little bit as he let the smoke out again. “No one I want to spend time with, anyway.” He said with a small chuckle, which only grew as he introduced himself. “I won’t, just don’t call me Patty and we’ll get along great.” He said with a nod, taking another drag from the blunt before holding it back out for the other.
