After one million years of production, I made this comic to try and answer the question “why are the flowers so insistent on being humans specifically?”

Some notes on this freak:

- the Master of Insurance. You can get coverage for anything in London, it just has to go through Mr. Damages

- Real friendly with Tomb-Colonists, and is the only employer around who actively seeks them out to hire

- Tends to arrive at scenes of major accidents entirely unannounced

- has a penchant for collecting and hoarding mementos of tragedy, from burnt scraps of buildings brought down by arson to a newspaper clipping detailing a factory explosion that killed dozens to the nameplate from a sunken ship to the hood of a New Newgate gaoler plucked from the smoldering wreckage of their aircraft. Anything goes

- Thinks of itself as a jokester. Always has some annoying little quip or comment about the misfortunes it takes such pleasure in witnessing

- big fan of the Vake much to every other Master’s chagrin

- Got exiled for keeping a memento of an event that the Judgements would have much rather been wiped from all of astral history. Was told to destroy it or face punishment; it walked itself down to the Neath, clutching that star-fragment close to its chest.

I had a whole lot of fun making this!! Blue and Yellow have definitely earned their place among my favorite characters <3 I used a mix of digital art and paintpens to make this!! It was very interesting and i think i will continue doing these sorts of pieces!!

I think Flowery should have pretty pink eyes and here is why

Connection to Ralsei (it’s possible he would make his eyes pink specifically to taunt Ralsei)

He says his eyes are “golden” when introducing himself but come on that is not golden. That is dark yellow or olive. Pink looks a whole lot better anyway

The canon color looks too normal, too human. If they were a more unique/mystical color that would be a better reason for him to keep them closed

Snowblind - The Soaring Knight

The remnants of a fallen hero, given life by the power of shadow and the work of a man from another world. Legend has it that this horrific beast was once the first lightner to oppose the ascension of the Heir and Witch, but was felled by a fatal ice spell.

Now they stalk the skies of the wasteland, their screech the sound of a siren and their wings strong enough to bring forth sudden cyclones. Though opposed to the Heir and Witch, the beast will also descend from the sky to fight any creatures it sees that either resemble a knight or possess a pair of sharpened horns.

When travelling alone in the wastes, remember:

Whelp! I finally decided to post my full design rather than hiding it in memes. With Dess now 'de-roaringifed' (for now), Gaster has used Berdly's body to create a substitute. Fiercely loyal to the Doctor and eager to pluck out the SOUL from the heir's chest, the SOARING KNIGHT is a truly formidable opponent. Unable to use ICE spells, SK's moveset instead pulls from Berdly's wind magic, sending powerful gales and tornadoes against our heroes.

From a 'gameplay' perspective, SK's appearances would mostly be scripted encounters in which they drop from the sky or try to accost our heroes while they're driving back from one of the main areas.

Throughout Deltarune a significant pattern is shaping up. There are multiple couples that are deeply in love, which just so happen to be blue and yellow (sorry there’s no yellow text): Blue x Yellow (the flowers), Elnina x Lanino, and Alphys x Undyne. This color pattern is comparable to the already well known yellow and pink, which is always associated with the eerie and malicious, secret bosses, and the mysterious Friend.

The obvious conclusion this is pointing to is that yellow and pink is evil, and yellow and blue is good, therefore the solution to the Horrors is to have more blue

My interpretation of the kawkaws. They’re weird little crow dogs with stubby little legs and paws so they sort of just look like a big head sticking out of the ground. I gave them six legs for fun
