personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist

you have to consciously unlearn racism and continue to watch for it because it will come out without realizing. because so much of society is structured around it. shrugging and going "i dont care" or "i dont know how else to say it" means you are okay with being racist and hurting other people with how much you dont give a shit about them.

According to people who work with code, this may actually be able to close a 911 call because Trump wants to send a fundraiser email through it.

It also seems like it will go off, sound and vibration, whenever someone posts. Trump is awake at 2 AM. You will not be able to shut off your phone or stop the noise until you handle this. It will also drain your battery by being a surprise 2 AM noisemaker.

Don't put it on your phone. It's actually stealing less data than I expected (I mean, yes, OBVIOUSLY it's tracking your location and sending that to any cop who's bored, but it isn't taking any credit card info, so hey, that's nice), but it still can access and fuck up anything saved on your phone, record any unlocking method you use including fingerprint and face, and seems to want to do so to force you to suddenly have an explosion of noise.

Again: this may extend to dropping a call for an ambulance.

Is showing signs of being spyware in unstated ways.

March 26, day xx of traveling

As I’ve explored my corner of the universe, I’ve picked up a helpful load of Korvaxian language and have begun trying to piece together the mystery of how I woke up on a frozen bullshit planet.

Oereppa-Urni is cozy little system featuring 3 planets and one moon. Adesp, my home planet, with its ruined moon, Elwyandha. Adjacent to these are the tiny volcanic planet, Berryahil III, and the toxic horror infested with titan worms is the formidable ringed planet, Hanompene.

As I repair various ships and salvage others, I have noticed curiosities within the constellations and it’s stirring a restlessness inside of me. As soon as my freighter is in working orders, I am ready to set sail for the next chapter.
