Enrico Pucci was just 16 years old when he made a mistake. A stupid, avoidable mistake, but one he made out of love. Love for his sister, love for the brother he thought he’d lost, love for his family. He didn’t want to hurt anybody, not even the woman who took Weather away from him to begin with. He did what he thought would lead to the least pain for everyone involved.

Through a series of unfortunate coincidences, Pucci’s life fell to tragedy. And that’s all they were, just mistakes, just coincidences. There was no fate or destiny, it was just the world being cruel and indifferent. No god made this happen, it just did.

And Pucci couldn’t accept it. All this suffering was for no greater cause or held any deeper meaning and he could not cope with that.

So instead of accepting that the world is cruel for no reason, he took up Dio’s theology and teachings and he set about to make it so that his tragedy was meant to happen. Everyone would know their predetermined paths from the past life and be unable to stop them, thus making them destiny.

Now it was okay that Weather’s mother did what she did. It was okay that Pucci did what he did. There is no accountability for their actions, because now it’s fate, now it’s gravity, now it’s meant to be.
