Reuniting||Priscilla & Jefferson

Jefferson went to stay something but Priscilla spook before he could. So instead, he stood back to let the two of them have a moment. Grace was only a baby when Priscilla was taken away, but he always made sure to tell the little girl about her mother and had a few drawing of her.  So when the two were in an embrace, his tears finally begin to flow.

Moving, he wrapped his two girls into his arms holding them both close. He finally had his whole family back after everything Regina did to them and what happen in Wonderland. Jefferson also know at that moment he was going to do everything he could to protect them forever.

The family stayed just like that until Priscilla realized the late hour. Her motherly instincts took over and she insisted Grace get her rest. Though she protested at first, scared she might wake up to find it all to be a dream, Priscilla assured her it wasn’t. After tucking her in and reading her a story, Priscilla realized Grace was more tired than she’d let on. Grace was soon fast asleep and Priscilla returned to Jefferson’s side. “Let’s talk.” She said, to her husband. “I have so much to tell you, and I’m sure you have many questions.”

“Who are you married to? Maybe I can help you find them!” She perked up, happy to have some way she could help, Rapunzel cared too much about others to leave this poor, beautiful woman to search the huge town for her family alone! That wasn’t right!

“A man named Jefferson.” She replied, softly. “I’ll keep looking. I’ve been searching for years. I’ll never give up on them.”

“Its…..its a very long story but I’ll tell you one day. But you don’t have to worry about anything, we are safe here.” He said wrapping an arm around her and walking into the house. It was so much bigger then what they had before in the forest, but it was their life now. Hopefully she was able to adjust to it.

Walking into the house with Priscilla, he lead her into the kitchen where Grace was doing her school work. Her back was turned to them, but she was all grown up now. “Gracie dear…..I want you to meet someone.” He said quietly.

Priscilla nodded and leaned into him as he led her into the house. Grace heard her father’s voice and turned. A frown of confusion crossed her lips. Though they hadn’t had much in the way of photography back in the EF, there were drawings of her mother and she was sure that’s who this woman was. But, she’d been told she was dead. “Papa, I...I don’t understand.”

Tears filled Priscilla’s eyes once more. “Grace....” Her voice was a whisper. “My sweet Grace.” 

“I know it’s confusing, and I promise I can explain, but it’s me. Sweetheart, I’m your mother.” 

Her words snapped Grace out of her confusion and a smile spread across her face as she moved to embrace her. Priscilla cried harder as she hugged her little girl tightly.

Rapunzel nodded. “No, it’s just my mother and I.” She hesitated, a little bit of fear shocking her system as the woman asked her name. She seemed nice, but what if she just wanted Rapunzel’s hair? “My name is Rapunzel.” She finally answered the question. There was plenty of space to run if the woman tried to attack her.

“That’s a very nice name. It’s nice to meet you.” She said. “I take it you’re not from this town? I’m not either. Though, my husband and daughter live here. I’ve been searching for them for quite some time.”” She explained.

Jefferson just nodded, holding her close to his chest, they had all the time in the world now to figure out everything that had happen and how she was there now. He finally let her go after a second to wipe her tears away. “She is inside. She is fine and health, doing homework right now.” He said smiling.

Grace was all grown up now and probably wouldn’t remember her mom, but there was time to learn again. Plus Jefferson was always telling her about Priscilla, so she know stories. “Come inside.” He said taking her hand, and leading her inside the house.

Priscilla smiled through her tears. She remembered all too well the last conversation they’d ever had. When she had pleaded with him to let her go, because they couldn’t both die. Someone had to live for Grace. She had begged him to leave her behind, so their daughter wouldn’t be alone.

She was so glad he had done it. Gripping his hand tightly, she followed him inside. “This place...” She said, softly. “How did you...?” It was nothing at all like their humble little hovel back home in the Enchanted Forest. She wasn’t sure she liked it.

When the woman finally turn around, all he could do was stand there in shock. All this time, all these years, he had thought his wife was dead. But now she was standing in front of him. He didn’t know if she was real or not at first. But when Priscilla spoke, he know then he was real.

“……Priscilla……how?” He whispered dropping the scissors and walking over to her. Tears were already forming in his eyes. In seconds he had his arms around his wife and was holding her time against him. “You’re alive…….you’re really here?”

Unable to hold back her emotions, she let them come. Her own tears fell as her arms wrapped around his neck. “I am here. Finally.” She said, softly. “It’s a really long story, and I promise I will explain it to you, but right now, I just want you to hold me.” She melted into his embrace.

Then, she remembered. “Jefferson...Grace...our Grace...is she...where is she?” Her little girl. The sweet baby who she imagined was no longer a baby.

“Hey there, my name is Mary Margaret.” She offers her hand, hoping to greet the woman.”How can I help you? I know it’s probably a big adjustment to Storybrooke, but I’m happy to help in any way that I can.” She had no idea who any of the new people were, but she was determined to befriend them all.

Priscilla smiled at the woman and shook her hand. “It’s very nice to meet you, Mary Margaret. Originally, I’m from Camelot, but I spent sometime in Wonderland and then my husband and I settled in the Enchanted Forest and had our daughter.”

After being in the new place for a few days, Rapunzel was sure that she wasn’t very scared of other girls, she had made a decision that they were probably nice. She wasn’t very cautious or scared about approaching the pretty redheaded woman. She had never seen someone with such pretty hair, it was gorgeous! “Your hair is so pretty…how did you make it that color?”

Priscilla smiled at the young blonde. “Well, thank you. I didn’t do anything, it’s my natural color.” She replied. “You’ve never seen anyone with red hair before?” She then smiled. “My name is Priscilla, what is your name?”

Things in Jefferson’s life had been so much better. He had Gracie back and didn’t have to worry about things go on in the town. So much always seemed to be happening there, that the pair mainly keep to his mansion in the forest. Jefferson had taken up homeschooling Gracie and most of the time they would play in the woods. It was like their lives before he had been trapped in Wonderland.

That day, he was just leaving to table to make them a lunch as Grace worked on some math work. Their life had been pretty quite lately. Few things come up in the town, but nothing they were really worried about. It seemed like Emma and them had just broke another curse, so things might be normal for a few days. Atleast he was hoping.

Looking up though window in the kitchen, he frowned seeing a women wondering around the house and to the front door. It was very rare that anyone even came close to his house, so he was a bit worried. Grabbing his scissors, he headed around the back to circle around the women.  Standing a few yards away from her, Jefferson coughed. “Can I help you? This is private property.”

Priscilla had once been a thief, and though it had been many years and she had long since put that life behind her, she still kept the mindset that you always needed to be on alert. It was that which kept her alive in the March Hare’s maze.

When she heard a voice, she froze. “I’m sorry...I...” She turned around slowly and her eyes widened. “Jefferson...” Her eyes moved to the scissors and then back to him. She wasn’t afraid of him. “You don’t know how long I’ve been looking for you, trying to find you...”

As Priscilla landed with a thud, she blinked rapidly, taking in her surroundings. She’d been in Camelot, the land of her birth. It had been an ordinary day. She had found work long ago as a dressmaker. On her way into the village, a bright light had flashed and in front of her was a portal. Before she could even react, she’d been pulled in.

Now, as she looked around, she realized this was no longer Camelot. In fact, it didn’t even appear to be part of the Enchanted Forest. And it certainly wasn’t Wonderland. Frowning as she stood up, she brushed off her clothes. The woods she was in seemed endless. However, having dealt with a seemingly endless maze, Priscilla was determined. Choosing a direction, she headed off.

After nearly an hour of walking she stopped in her tracks. An expansive mansion stood before her, right in the middle of the woods. A chill ran up her spine at the sight of it. Sure, it wasn’t at all similar to the March Hare’s, but just the size of it and the fact that it was located in what appeared to be an endless forest unsettled her. Now, the question was, did she keep going and try and find a village or town? Or did she venture up to the door and hope the owner was friendly?
