No fucker warned me this film was scary. I don’t mean ah a ghost scary, I mean now I refuse to leave my house in case I accidentally enter a spaceship somehow and despite the scientists on board shit goes down and we die horrible horrible deaths.

This film is so absorbing, so beautifully crafted. It’s dark and sad and deserving of it’s Best Motion Picture nomination.

Ignore the highly annoying spelling of 'honor', and the fact this all happens in a single week (I know right?). This is actually a nice love story aimed at a young audience. Being said audience, I loved it.

I thought this film was about Sandra Bullock helping a blind guy read. For this reason it took me 4 years to watch. It's actually very lovely and the guy isn't blind, but SB does still read to him in one scene. Spoiler.
