A compilation of my progress this year. Talent isn’t enough, its all about the hard work you put in. Every day is a new start, don’t count on tomorrow. So what does your average day look like? I am wanting to make changes but have found that between working full time, 2 kids, a spouse, and studying to improve my skills set at the office, working out time is pretty compacted. What is your typical day like?
Well, my average day is a very busy day. I work shifts of 12 hours a day for 3-4 days a week. So i schedule my workouts based on my free days. On my free days, I workout twice a day. I go to the gym, after I drop the misses at work. Don't forget to still make time for your wife and kids but also to insert certain workouts in your schedule. For example, I run in the morning and in the evening I go to the gym. For my workdays, I take a rest day once a week or I do a workout based on my own bodystrength. This, I do at home. For example you do a Hight Intensity Interval training. Just pushups, pullups, airsquats, burpees, all that kind of stuff. I also cook my meals in the morning so I don't lose time with cooking in the middle of the day. Thats also a way to not cheat if you have your meals prepped before. If you are interested, I can make you a workout schedule adjusted to the time that you have. #thefitbarbarian 👊🏾

The picture on the left is me 4 years ago. I was very shy and anxious in the beginning of my journey, to become an athlete that can compete in every discipline, in every sport. I did made mistakes by the years, and maybe I could made more progress than I’ve made now. But the most important thing is that I’ve changed physically, but also mentally. The things I’d never tought i’d do, the things I thought I’ve never accomplish, all those things I’ve completed by myself. I’ve experienced everything on my own. Which mealplan that could adjust my body, which training exercices that were the most efficient for me, how many times I’d need to go to the gym, how much time I needed to rest and more. This made me stronger than I’d ever wished for. I’ve gathered so much knowledge through the years, that I have reached a point that I’m willing to pass it for all the beginners, but also the more experienced gymrats, or sportsfanatics all over the world. Be my guest, and ask me what you wanna know. I would reply it with a lot of respect and I am gonna try to pass all of my knowledge to you guys! Peaaaaaace! 👊🏾

Quads!
All four quadriceps are powerful extensors of the knee joint. They are crucial in walking, running, jumping and squatting. Because rectus femoris attaches to the ilium, it is also a flexor of the hip. This action is also crucial to walking or running as it swings the leg forward into the ensuing step. The quadriceps, specifically the vastus medialis, play the important role of stabilizing the patella and the knee joint during gait.
