Suddenly, Circuit Makati was turned into a big hipster heaven.
My favorite local band Sheâs Only Sixteen performed! They played AmorĂ© and I TRIED SO HARD TO CONTAIN MY EMOTIONS, but I failed ok. Mahirap. (Guys, album launch na please.)
It was my first time hearing Yolanda Moon and wow, they were really good ok.
I came to Wanderland knowing only one Colour Coding song (Perfect, which was really good ugh). Then after their set, I became an instant fan *cry* AND THEY DID A COVER OF THE KILLERSâ WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG. I WAS LITERALLY NOT OKAY WITH THINGS GOING ON. PLS STOP IT RIGHT THERE WANDERLAND.

Up next was Tully on Tully! They were really good and their set was pretty intense! Iâm really grateful for this band because without this band, I wouldnât be able to go to the fest. I won their giveaway omfg. After their set, I got the chance to meet Natalie (their lead) and when she saw me, she literally extended her arms to hug me (I WAS EMOTIONAL PLS LANG) I love you guys and I hope to see you guys again soon!
Guys, eto na yun. Up Dharma Down was THE SHIT. It was my first time seeing them live and GODDAMN. They played my fave tracks from Capacities! (Kasi naman, lahat yata ng tracks sa Capacities, favorite ko.) AND ARMIâS KEMBOT!!! Armi, let me love you down.Â
Nada Surf sounded so good live! Their songs brought me back to my One Tree Hill days!

Neon Treesâ set was ON FIRE!! (Literally, may nasunog na wires, ok.) But seriously. People were kinda expecting their set to be really intense and they never failed us! When they finally played Animal and Everybody Talks, I swear to God, the crowd went all batshit crazy. We were jumping and singing out hearts out the entire set! (Basang-basa kami sa pawis after. #MedyoKadiri)
Our love was lost but now weâve found it WHEN THE TEMPER TRAP FINALLY PLAYED. They sound really great live ok (It was as if you were listening to them on your iPod, JUST BETTER). Dougyâs falsettos never failed to give the crowd goosebumps! And when they finally played Sweet Disposition, GODDAMN I nearly cried ok (this music fest basically let out all of my emotions Iâm so done with everything).
Also, after the fest, we got the chance to meet Tim and Chris of Colour Coding! They were so nice ugh why do they have to be so nice it makes me wanna cry. (Proof!! And photos of me with Armi, Luigi, and the gorgeous Anne Curtis!)
It was the first indie-music fest here in the Philippines and I think Karpos did a really, really good job! Kudos, guys! Looking forward to Wanderland 2014!
