“The town is so peaceful and secluded from the rest of the entire state. I was literally in another time with all the beautiful, well-standing architecture and richness in history. They have antique shops and a bluegrass band playing on a porch; biking around the entire town looking at the rustic houses, old cemetery, and eating at the organic coffee shop was a great get away from Gainesville and all your worries. Best decision to pass by.”

Welcome one and all to the blog that is dedicated to the history and memory of Florida since and before statehood. We encourage all Floridians and Floridaphiles to come post any form of memory or history of the state that you have had or heard. This can be in the form of a story, photograph, art, and etc.
