The GATE, the TRUTH -- where does it all lead, what does it all mean? Other worlds, parellel worlds where are they? What are they? Germany, Amestris, Japan, Domino City...

If you die in one place do you wake up in the other...? If you go through the gate, encounter the Truth what do you see? Where do you go?

in this case...

The gate of Amestris somehow acts as a portal to DOMINO CITY, the alchemists and other denizens of FMA can see Domino City as almost an afterlife, some have lived here a WHILE, others are new arrivals; they are lost and confused.

Will you be their friend? Will you help them? Guide them? Teach them to duel?

There it was, he knew something was up with Alphonse,. He wanted to have the other tell him just what it was that he was thinking and feeling. They had such a connection that he just knew something wasn’t right. “Is that how ya felt this entire time, Al?” He felt so guilty that he was doing better than his own younger Brother. He knew Al wanted him happy, but nothing made him more happy than seeing Alphonse happy.

      “Yes. I do not... have your friends, your family, your ties to this place...” he whispered, guilt thick in his voice, heavy in his eyes, his tone, his very expression before he looked away.  “I’m sorry.... I’m so sorry, Ed... But I cannot... feel at home here. This place... it’s confusing to me, it’s hard to adapt.” he whispered.         What had happened between them? Used to... it was just them verses the entire world and now...? Alphonse floundered, unable to find his place, a peaceful place where he’d finally fully belong.

     “......National boyfriend day is October third...? The world really is cruel....”

   “Cross walks and crossed hearts, silver clouds with grey linings...” humming as he sat at the top of the KaibaCorp tower, looking over Domino City, simply gazing at the city that his brother in law owned.         “....Brother, what’s wrong with me...” he whispered, despite knowing Edward wasn’t here.  How often had Alphonse come up here to look over the city, to try and figure his shit out? He couldn’t count how many times he snuck up here now.
