as someone who has also had their work stolen several times, i completely understand how betraying it feels. I also understand how it makes writing less fun with all the motivation sucked out of you. I recently set my works to registered users only, so hopefully it helps!! I do hope you continue to write black rabbit, as it's one of the most beloved vigilante deku fics. good luck now, and in the future!!! :)

Is Black Rabbit gone forever?

I made it private due to excessive theft (it's been stolen 5 times now) but it's not gone forever as I'm currently rewriting it. The first chapter of the rewrite will hopefully be out in a few days. I'll likely un-private the original eventually once the rewrite gets going. I just don't have it in me to both focus on the rewrite AND worry about it being stolen again.

I really hate to be that person, but are you ok? Any idea if/when you’ll be posting again? I really love your fic about Black Rabbit and am dying to see Aizawa and Hisashi talk about Izuku

I appreciate the concern but I promise I’m fine, I’m just an adult with a job and more than one hobby to squeeze into not a lot of free time. (I spent 16 hours building a working model pinball machine and still haven’t finished playing TotK) I will update it again eventually and i know it’s been a while

Unfortunately, because I care so much about this fic, writing Black Rabbit takes a lot out of me and i end up not having the energy to write ANYTHING for up to a couple weeks after completing a chapter which tends to leave me with a lot of anxiety.

Additionally, I’m working on anywhere from 6 or more fic ideas at a time to keep my rotation fresh and not hit burn out so BR isn’t my only focus. So all in all, Black Rabbit is kinda my one big project among many small ones so updates are just going to have to wait until i can manage it. But I am really sorry it’s taking so long.

Is Black Rabbit on hiatus?

not exactly?

I’m. considered an essential worker so, unlike a lot of people, I still work 5 days a week and am putting in a lot of overtime. Plus, I’m on graveyard shift so I’m awake at weird times.

On top of that my lease ended so I’m currently in the process of moving places.

(I’ve been playing animal crossing: new horizons non-stop recently too.)

when I have time I try to write but I’m in a bit of a rut so I’m just throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks.

so really i’m just busy right now but i’m trying. I want to write more Black Rabbit but I gotta get my groove back first.  As soon as I can I’ll work on it more you just gotta hang tight.
