Last weekend I made Autumn pizzas!
I wanted to make pizzas but without the normal pizza dough. I was looking for an alternative and used instead of pizza dough, whole wheat pita bread. . . . Ingredients for 2 pizzas:
- 1 whole wheat pita bread - 2 tbsp red pesto - 6 slices (medium-sized) tomato - 2 tbsp parmesan cheese - 2 mushrooms (in slices) - 1 mini orange bell pepper (in slices) - 12 pieces of mozarella - black pepper - dried oregano
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the pita bread into two and place it with the nice side up. Spread the pita bread with the pesto and put the tomato on it. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and divide the mushrooms and the peppers on the pizzas. Put the mozzarella on it and sprinkle with pepper and oregano. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven for 12 minutes.
Tip: Serve a fresh salad as a side dish
Enjoy!
