i'm a "people can have different interpretations of media" person until someone says gojo's last words to geto were some bullshit like "i'll miss you" or "you're my best friend".

my brother in gege, his last words are literally FUCKING CENSORED. it is hidden even from THE AUDIENCE. this implies it's something he normally wouldn't say, (and according to the novelization, something he's never said before) and that it's so intimate the fucking AUDIENCE isn't allowed to know. why on earth would it be "you're my best friend" or whatever? from a literary perspective it makes no sense to censor it in this scene and then have gojo freely say it during the later scene with yuta. throughout the movie it's established that gojo and geto still harbor affection towards one and other and regret how things turned out between them and the fact that they're now enemies. why would last words confirming their friendship for the 10th time in the movie be censored?

moreover, the theme of the movie is love. yuta's love towards rika which cursed her. gojo saying love is the most twisted curse of all. geto saying "at least curse me a little". the theme "this is pure love" contonuing to play during geto's death. 24th of december being the most romantic day of the year in japan.

come on. don't act stupid with me.

Chu wanning is THE character ever. He's powerful, talented, and righteous. He seems perfect and put together. He's a hot mess. An absolute wreck. His room looks like a hurricane touched down in it. He regularly falls off his bed. He makes robots. He's a hazard in the kitchen aside from exactly one (1) dish. He has a resting bitch face but honestly is just socially anxious. His only friends are his students, his boss, and a little gremlin dragon he made (which can grow in size. And he can ride it. He rides a fucking dragon). He's gay. His taste in women is "female. alive." He has a terrible sugar addiction. He can drink you under the table several times over. He has sexy dreams about getting absolutely railed into next week by his beloved. He wants to be held gently and be called beautiful. He knows next to nothing abt sex. He stuck a candlestick up his ass. He once tried to remove his spiritual core by carving it out of his chest with a sword. He dragged his beloved up 3799 stairs while on the verge of death. He was carved from a block of magic wood. He traveled through time and space, creating an entirely new timeline to change both his own and his beloved's fates. He split apart his soul and shoved half of it into his beloved. He ran away when his beloved confessed to him. He's afraid of heights. He cannot handle anything even remotely spicy. He dies. He comes back to life after 5 years. He gambles. He's a man of the people. He won't hesitate to cut a bitch. Children are terrified of him. What else.

Minor "conflict" (day 2: modulo yuuji/curse megumi)

Context below the cut!!!

Idea behind this is that megumi comes out whenever yuuji is in conflict (with himself, with a curse, with someone, whatever situation) and the worse his stress the more megumis there are. Yuuji can understand him but sometimes curse megumi is unintelligible, sometimes he speaks completely clearly, though the more of him there are (aka the more stressed he is) its harder to make out what hes saying, so he tries to stay mellow

In this instance, yuuji isn't all that stressed but he's in "conflict" enough that one megumi is summoned. Yuuji is genuinely wondering if he shouldve ordered extra spicy. The funny (and kinda not funny) thing about this curse is that it doesnt differentiate the seriousness of the situation. So Yuuji kinda takes advantage of it, uses those not so serious times to talk to megumi as if he were alive, and megumi responds as he would. But he doesnt always recall their previous encounters. You can imagine how this can be frustrating so yuuji keeps conversations light and "meaningless" to save them both the grief.

I would like to draw more of when ghere are multiple megumis too because its kind of a feedback loop of yuuji is stressed -> multiple megumis show up -> theyre hard to understand so he cant communicate with megumi -> he gets more stressed out -> more megumis show up, so he has to cope veryyy well to avoid this spiral.

So much i have to say about this au buttt we will expand someday. I might make a fic.
