I don't hide my experiences, and I don't care if it paints you in a bad light. I endured it, (and you) so I feel entitled to tell it like it was.
I didn’t benefit from your poor behavior.

The joys of chemo tongue.Things just taste sad.
Remedies: Mouth sores
Ok I’ll try this again. You know that while your recovering your body is going bonkers. Chemo comes out in every system of the body. A main spot, the mouth. Thankfully others have shared their wisdom to ease my suffering, hope this helps you.
Magic Mouth Wash. It needs to be prescribed by your doctor but it keeps thing in check with the mouth. The tongue needs a little bit more. The trick is to be preventative, start early. Before the mouth wash take a pre-rinse with a bacon-soda and salt solution. Then mouth wash. Arm the outside lips with coco butter and bee’s wax ( thus the prior pics of Carmex or Burt’s Bees.)
Hope this helps at least in the mouth zone😀
Of course I post to the wrong place. why not?
Remedies
Oh, tumblr, always killing post 😜
Quick non-informative pictures of some remedies then (sorry, had written a lovely blog post but, you know so while it doesn’t crap out, Pictures of helpful things because I’m not posting this to Facebook.)
These help in multiple areas. I will try in additional post to go into detail. Sorry for the product dump.
Curds is the word, yo.
Thank you dear friends.
Making cookies because Christmas times a coming. Mom hates baking, but with over 12 years of manufacturing experience I know how to assemble a mass production of deliciousness for her. Tomorrow they get the icing treatment (the sugar cookies, plus a little theme candy on that). The m&m go down for the hard working ladies at the treatment center. Yay!
I won’t be hanging off the roof this year. This tree decoration is a must, made by my Grandmother, it is one of my favorites. I pulled the garland out but I doubt I will leave it there. The nativity is a small one I’ve had since my early apartment days, but this year I have it on the mantel. We do have a fiber optic tree, but that takes some digging. i’m on it.
revamping the beads badges for a tree design will need to add beads. I'll be posting some decor stuff soon.
Welcome new follower
I thank you for your interest. I do try to update regularly, but during sessions reading can get challenging, so I’ll do my best. Have questions? Ask away, I try to be as open as possible here.
Session 4 starts next week, I'm not looking forward to it. Some scary stuff can happen this round, they are warning me about intense pain coming with some new meds. Merry Christmas right? Afterwards, I get an update scan. Please don't misunderstand, I am glad I'm getting treatment, but like anyone going through this, it isn't something I get a thrill doing. So many people are warning me, which I'm of course grateful for, but it doesn't make the prep for the pain any less annoying. It's like I am walking up to a dragon's cave and seeing all the chard bones and thinking "Gee, is this really what I want to do?" Worse part is, Session 3 totally killed me Christmas shopping during good deal time. I always get well thought-ed gifts to people because I so love to watch them get them. I feel so frustrated that I may have to just gift card it this year. Bummer.
Chemo challenge for Xmass
Up late trying to upload a gratitude video for a friend. Will probably regret tomorrow's busy schedule.
I hope I don’t get sick
I can relate. The song that is.
Attempting to swallow. It burns, it hurts but it stays down, so far.
A hundred million miracles.
Today has been better, overall. Things are healing again, I hope to have a good session with the Doctor tomorrow.
Travel day
Hi Ben, I haven't put my health status on Facebook but wanted to let you know that I do know what your going through. I was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in Feburary. I have been through 6 rds of R-chop chemo, 3 rds of R-Ice chemo and just finished an Autogolos Stem Cell Transplant. I'm 45 days post transplant now and will have a PET scan soon to see if the cancer is finally gone. Keep fighting and focus on the future. Let me know if you need someone to talk to.
First, let me apologize for posting, I try to make it a habit to respect folks on here till I have gotten permission to post publicly (for some reason I can’t reply to you privately). I have attempted this reply before, but got errored so sadly I am going for short burst in this reply. Thank you for your kind gesture. Permit me to extent the same courtesy. While I am unfamiliar with your situation, let me say I understand the hesitation. (I know it comes from a good place) I pray for happy results for you on your scan and hope you will share the happy news.
Hopefully one day, tumblr won’t eat my letters to the nice people I meet on here. Thanks.
I have been working on a new craft to add to the swag. Christmas is coming for my sixth grade class, (that I currently can’t teach in, because chemo-cancer stuff) I am doing a dry run on a new item. This is just a prototype, I am planning to use the right color scheme, etc. on the finished product. Still planning some modifications, but good dry run.
Update: I did a dry run with the right colors, I found I will need to add beads to improve my pattern.
