vivadalene.
āChrist,ā Vivian murmured, bending over to gather the scattered papers that she had accidentally stepped on.Ā āSorry!ā She shuffled the papers in her hands before noticing familiar words she knew before handing them over to the boy in question. Smiling warmly, her ruby red grin made her look approachable for once.Ā āRough day?ā she offered, adjusting the strap of her bag to her shoulder as she straightened herself.Ā āFilm student, huh?ā She tilted her head, examining his name scribbled on top of what looked like homework for a class sheād taken before.Ā āI took this, like, sophomore year. The professorās good if you can ignore his misogynistic microaggressions. Though Iām sure you donāt have a problem with that.ā She looked back at the papers before scanning the boyās face. āFox. Thatās a fun name. Were your parents X-Files fans or something?ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Most people either didnāt notice that they were stepping on his homework or choose to ignore that they were stepping on his homework. Fox felt invisible -- which was normal for him if he had to admit it. He looked up when someone started to bend down and help him. His first thought was that she reminded him of Elenora, but she was off in Chicago or something.Ā āJust a long day,ā he replied, not used to anyone actually caring about him other than his own family members.Ā āYeah. Iām a film student.ā Not that he actually needed school to be in the film industry. He laughed at her words about the professor.Ā āWhat makes you think that?ā Fox asked, tilting his head to the side. He actually hated the professor.Ā āI constantly want to punch him in the face. I started a debate with him the other day about one of the offhanded comments he made. Though Iām sure he wouldnāt actually say any of them to my motherās face.ā Fox and his father were outnumbered, not that either of them minded. His mother actually did make more money than his father did.Ā āUh, they claim they arenāt. They told me they just liked the name. I hate the X-Files. Chris Carter sucks.āĀ Ā
ofcxlottie.
lottie was on her way out of the appartments, boredly in search of something or someone to entertain her due to the lack of attention she had been receiving from her significant other recently. staring down at her phone as she waited for one of the many she had texted to reply and hopefully not be busy, but being so concerned about her phone she wasnāt aware of the other heading her way. it wasnāt until she heard the curse and the sound of paper scattering did her eyes look up and her feet come to a stop. without a word the brunette squatted down at helped the other gather his papers,Ā āah here⦠and sorry i like was a lacking attention on my surroundings..ā lottie mumbled, feeling as though it was her fault because she couldāve been the one to move after all.Ā āare you alright?ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Fox hated the social scene here. Mostly because he was 90% sure he still gave off the homeschool-kid vibe. Even tough it technically wasnāt homeschool because heād just been tutored. But he was still kind of awkward and most people could tell that just by a glance at him. Or thatās the way he felt most of the time. Fox hated his clumsy nature most of the time. He could trip over a flat surface and often tripped over his own two feet. When papers went flying, he expected most everyone to just keep walking, stepping over his papers, but someone started to help. He glanced up at the helper.Ā āOh, no... it was my fault. I tripped. And I was... lost in thought. You know how it is.ā He said as if everyone knew that feeling.Ā āIām fine. Thanks.āĀ
blrknox.
āCome now, youāre too cute when you pout like that!ā Blair teased.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āIām not pouting. Iām just thinking about how if I hadnāt gone to college, Iād be with my parents in Europe right now.āĀ
rosamie.
āthis is how i know society is failing: i speak three languages, have won multiple awards in my field, iāve been working since i was fifteen in at least three different fields - iām book smart, grew up in queens so iām street smart too. throw in a sob story of family trauma and adding in white institutions wanting token brown people, colleges should have been beating down my door. but no, the best offer iāve gotten in months was a guy on tinder offering to get me an apartment and pay my bills in exchange for letting him jack off on me twice a week. why pursue academia when i can just get a sugar daddy?ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Fox was used to unsavory stories. Growing up in the film industry meant that he was near the mess that was Hollywood. And even if his parents mostly did indie films, there were still lots of ridiculous issues. But he knew he had it easy. His parents worked in the field that he wanted to be in. Heād been working in his field since he was old enough to hold a camera, learning the ins and outs of the film industry from his parents. He didnāt know why he was listening to this story, especially as it got near the end. Fox looked uncomfortable.Ā āBecause... no one can take education from you and a sugar daddy could die at any second?ā Was that even a real question? Fox honestly had no idea.Ā āSorry, why are you telling me this?ā
blknox.
Blake walked along the sidewalk with no real destination in mind. Heād just slipped out of the popular pub amongst Lockwood students, feet dragging as he slowly moved. Hand deep in his jeanās pockets and his gaze cast down on a foreign pile of guck on the ground to avoid stepping on it, he suddenly found himself colliding with a shoulder. Foxās shoulder. Gasping softly, he quickly bounced down to help pick up the papers that had been scattered on the ground, offering his pile to Fox once he stood again.Ā āIām so sorry. Wasnāt looking where I was going. Completely my fault.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Fox honestly didnāt care that his family was off in some foreign place while he got stuck at college. While he enjoyed the school, he loved the prospect of eventually getting into the film business. The Kelley business if he was being honest. Literally every one of them had some talent for film, television, art, or theatre. Heād loved growing up the way he had with his family even if it was unconventional. Fox thought about his family and smiled, but wasnāt paying attention to where he was going. Foxās papers went all over the place. āOh, gosh. No itās my fault. Iām sorry,ā he said, looking up at Blake.Ā āThanks, you donāt have to help me though.āĀ
iāll be on later today! itās been a busy few days. but iām around for plotting.Ā
Foxās feet carried him towards his apartment. The building loomed ahead of him. Ear buds in, he slightly hopped along his path, not entirely dancing, but not walking like a normal person either. Heād just finished the last bit of homework that he had for his film editing class and he was looking forward to having the rest of the evening to do something other than sit in his room. As far as he was aware, his parents were once again off filming in some remote location in France or Spain ( or something ). Which meant that Zelda would be with them and he didnāt know what Elenora would be up to either, but she would mostly like be busy too. So ā it was going to be one of those weekends where Fox didnāt have an real plans for the day. He side stepped to avoid, someone and tripped on his own shoelace. āShit,ā he said, as a bunch of his notes went flying in every direction. He started scrambling to pick everything up before other people started stepping on it.
hey everyone! iām vex. this is my dorky kid fox and heās a little bit weird, but super nice to people. donāt talk to him about xfiles and youāll be good. i am really exhausted tonight, but come at me with plots!!!Ā
( NICK ROBINSON | 19 | CIS MALE ) I swear I saw FOX KELLEY around campus yesterday. I hear HE is very OPTIMISTIC, RESERVED & FLIGHTY, which explains why when you think of them, youād think of MOVIE THEATER POPCORN & MIDNIGHT WALKS ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA. Theyāre in their SOPHOMORE year and studying FILM STUDIES.
