There is no Eurydice
pt.2 of the name
This might seem a bit sudden but what if it means the journey of Orpheus traveling all the way to the underworld knowing he might not make it out alive but does still end up doing it for his love Eurydice and tries to bring her back to the world of the living aligns with Kim Heejae searching for gems as a way of trying to bring back the manager in a way.
As we see the first person he lets into his world , someone who accepts him as he is but in the end even the manager he loves quite dearly ends up leaving.
We see how Kim brings his students to art museums paralleling the way he used to spend time with the manager and how the students are seemingly a way for him to seal the hole in his heart.
but the main difference is the way he treats them.
All of his students are taught by making them hate him in order to make good music as a result. But the line between love and hatred is a thin line as we see in Garam's case that Garam despite everything still stays and wants to be by his side.
Maybe this parallels how Orpheus tries to bring Eurydice back to the land of the living but inevitably fails as he does look back. In Kim's case it's because of the past that still haunts him even now showing how he looks back even when he is with Garam, he still haunted by the past.
Showing how the manager or moreover the past is holding him back and causing him to look back and end up seeing Eurydice be pulled back to the underworld.
