Why the name change?

The Arabized Brotherhood project is long over. As part of that project, I was given the name Obida, which I've never liked. When I formally converted to Islam, I actually chose the name Yakub.

I figured it was long past time to let go of that project and rebrand in a way that reflects the actual journey I'm on. I do fundamentally believe the future is Muslim and specifically Arab, although I'm not sure that actually looks like the fetishized MNWO you'll see on here (as fun as that can be to imagine).

Expansion? Conquest? Evolution? Progress? Whatever you call it, the cream of European soccer is becoming increasingly Muslim and darker in skin tone. From one tournament to the next, the native Europeans—those who introduced the world to soccer, the white boys with blond hair and blue eyes—are dwindling in number and giving way to the dynamic, dark-skinned players with curly hair. They’re coming, their numbers are growing, they’re dominating, they’re taking the lead, and they’re displacing those who created the sport. How many more tournaments will it take for them to become the majority? And then what? A change of flag? A change of the country’s name?
