Since my last post went viral (to my standard) I wanna address another issue as a fellow reader and writers who write to implement.
I love conversing with people on Tumblr, reblog the memes and everything but if I propose.
Create a separate meme/rant/talk tag for the posts. I get really tired and sad when I go to my favourite tags, click on latest and most of it just memes. Ik one of the reason is the popularity of that tags, that's why I was thinking if we all collectively can create a tag and make it viral for these things.
Yk for example if I wanna rant about new people having no ethics in fanfic websites, let's have a specific tag for it (cuz I have a feeling we will need specific for it)
Or for a character "talk tag for ...(Character name)" This way these stuff won't stay in X reader tags or written one.
I would love it if everyone tagged as many tags as possible , so others can find this post and we can come up with tags to make it happened so i can rant somewhere else and read fanfic under one tag.

I recently saw a post referring to what you posted about and youโre absolutely right. What annoys me is when I go in some tags itโs right there in top posts because everyoneโs tryna argue about whether op was right or not but genuinely who gives a fuckkkk.
Who cares what you donโt like?? It annoys you? Scroll. Im pretty sure youโre not the target audience love. Fucking hell, like why do people always feel the need to comment on shit that has nothing to do with them.
EXACTLY !! when i see something I don't like , maybe a ship I don't mess with or character I don't like.
I literally just scroll away cuz in my head, 'it's not the type of plot i wanna read, so let's use the time and energy to find what i like'
Problem with these people are , they are too much entitled to pause and think some people might have complete different taste than you.
tbh i got agitated to write when i saw comments on fics where the character is older and in relationship with reader who have daddy issue and the people going why you want someone old enough to be your father and date them?
like idk maybe cuz i was deprived of that shit and seeing the comfort unhealthy through media.
I understand your frustration too cuz it annoying i learn the rules by observing but these people want everything there way without even trying to write themselves!!
Is it me or people on tumblr don't know how to just ignore something?? I have seen so many posts of people being like "I don't like this Tag or if someone like this tag they are..."
You guys know you can just ignore and move on??? And if there is high quantity of them, just either write your own to fight through quantity or skip through. It's basic rules.
The whole point of tumblr and any other site is for people to write freely, just because you don't like something, doesn't mean other wouldn't. I miss time when people will read things they like drop comments on either giving the author tips on writing, making joke, or appreciating the post cuz why are you criticising the work if someone didn't ask???
I wish people learn some basic etiquettes of fanfic reading or this is also going to be one thing ruin by people cuz they can't mind their own business.
How will be feeling? if I write a harry potter fanfic where my OCs Nyx sirius black, become Slytherin leader and show Slytherin in the new light.
