I think it's cruel people try to take away from Cassie how people feel about her whether or not she said "yes". Even if it's truth and that it wasn't Cassie but Valeen who said that, Cassie has lost her life, take away this from her will be cruel! I understand people wanting to set thibgs straight but I think it's absolutely greedy someone who survived Columbine and is having a chance to move on, try to take away this from someone who wasn't rhis lucky. For me, how I feel about Cassie stands, whether or not she said that! I believe in her faith and if she didn't say that, I am sure she would have.

Is there any photo of her being in her casket? I would just like to see her ”final” picture.

There isn’t a photo like this that exists. During the ceremony, her casket was closed. However, they opened her casket towards the end.

Rachel, Isaiah, Kelly, and Daniel Mauser all had open casket funerals. There are photographs for the last three.

As for Rachel's funeral, the casket was opened at the very end of the funeral. Here is an excerpt from Brooks Brown's book:

''At the end of the funeral, as people were getting ready to file out, they asked the family to leave. No one was expecting what happened next. They opened Rachel’s casket. There was Rachel. Dead. Her body, right there, in the casket for all to see. I don’t know what they were trying to show people by doing this, but in order to exit, you had no choice but to walk right by it. As we filed out, Doug was the first of our group to see her. He started crying. It was hard to watch. Steve (Rachel’s ex-boyfriend) was next. He saw Rachel’s body and collapsed on the floor in tears. Here was his former girlfriend, who still meant the world to him, and his body just failed him. Doug and I had to pick him back up and help him out of there. Of course, when I saw Steve lose it, I was right behind him. All the tears I hadn’t cried up to that point came gushing out, just like everybody else, as I saw Rachel lying there in that coffin.''

Alexi passed away 1 week ago, but just yesterday the notice was released... it's tragic to see 2020 didn't go away without causing more pain to people .
