Those who embody who they are and don’t wave it around like some status symbol are being true to themselves. Why yell about being autistic, queer, a therian, your nationality, religion, etc?
I of course acknowledge that many find validation and support with this, and I’m also not talking about those who simply share things about themselves and their neurodivergence or identity or experiences in general, I’m talking about those who blatantly demand to be acknowledged for something that’s apart of them. Those who are seemingly only able to be perceived by something that would usually make up for a minor aspect of a life.
I support practically all opinions and beliefs and identifies, unless the individual is wanting special treatment over that fact. To get their way just because of something. AGAIN, to be clear, I’m not talking about those who want accommodations or simply have fun sharing things about them, it’s just very irritating to have people’s entire life centered around one specific point. Those who think because they’re a specific category of people that they can’t do bad and should be given special permissions. Those who think an identity or an allow them to be excused of consequences.
