when Ludmila said "I know it is true that I would have waited a thousand years, because I know that you were on your way" to Marya, it made me realize that because of the time travel and time weirdness, Marya had been on her way the whole time. every moment of that thousand years, Marya was fighting her way to Ludmila, pushing through spacetime to get to her. yes, there's a world where Marya didn't make it in time and Ludmila was turned into the Queen of Zern -- we lived in that world -- but there's not a world where Marya never made it to Ludmila. she was on her way since before Ludmila even landed in Zern.

the cloudward ho finale was so beautifully bittersweet and fun and such a good story ending and when zac oyama asked if he could roll after the battle was done i 1000% thought he was going to pull a travis willingham and try to just kill pappy of old age and instead he shot wealwell and honestly, what a perfect end.
