Hello World!
We are the team behind The Ghosts in Our Machine, a potential turn-based RPG horror game about robots, gods and dreams!
The game places the Player in the body of Bug, a young robot girl, who has found herself far from home for unclear reasons. Throughout your journey, you will unravel the mysteries of both the world as a whole, and Bug's own life. The game will hopefully have multiple endings, based on the moral choices you will have to make.
I am Butterfly, the original writer of the story behind Ghosts, and I have been working on the idea and story for almost four years. My main blog is ButterflyTetra.
Nub is a long time friend of mine, who is much better at programming than I am, who has graciously decided to help me make my dreams a reality.
Your support means a lot to us, as we are just two kids who want to make a horror game.
Thank you for joining us on our game making journey!
Bug is the playable character. She is a young robot girl with a dour disposition. Her twisted and distressing dreams make up a significant portion of the game.
Tipper is a cheerful teenage lad, a young Ice Demon, a species of monster with natural ice powers. Tipper just wants to make friends, and to make the people around him feel appreciated and loved.
Mars is Bug's elder sister, the human child of her creators. She is a known delinquent who is quick to anger and fiercely protective of her little sister.
Li is a young robot boy, who stuggles to make friends but loves his plants. However, he may have a closer connection to them than your average green thumb.
Finally, Wynn is a wizard, who seems to know a suspicious amount about the heroes' journey, and has a more suspicious void of knowledge about the rest of the world...
