ripleywarbeck:
“i’m pretty sure that i don’t know it’s yours, qiqi,” he laughed. ripley knew that gigi was sensitive when it came to the book, but that never stoped him from being a complete dick to her all the time. “it doesn’t say gigi.” the boy levitated the journal higher with a smirk on his face. “i don’t see why you have to be such a jerk,” ripley mocked. he pointed his wand towards the edge of the pier. “do you want it back?”
That was the last straw. As she watched her journal floating over the water, Gigi couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. “Please.” It was the only word she could muster. Her whole life was in that book. Her whole life was in that book. Every drawing, every thought, every cheesy poem, every plan she had made in the past six months was in that book, and she knew she wasn’t going to get it back.
ripleywarbeck:
“i’m sure lots of people have a book like this. a company doesn’t make a product for one person.” he smirked, holding the book up so she couldn’t reach it. at her next statement, he flipped it open to the front cover. “it doesn’t say gigi. it looks like it says qiqi. is your name qiqi? no? it’s gigi. i think. right? it’s gigi.” he pulled his wand out and levitated the book out of her reach.Â
“I’m sure a lot of people do, but you and I know that that one is mine.” She was determined not to cry. She’d cried too many times in front of him, and she was not going to repeat this now, or at least she didn’t want to. “You know very well that says Gigi. Give it back.” Gigi’s hand tightened around the handle of her wand, the tears stinging her eyes. “I don’t see why you have to be such a jerk.”
littlemollyii:
“oh, sorry. no. i haven’t. do you want me to help you look?” molly asked, looking at the girl beside her. “i don’t mind. i was thinking about heading back anyway. is it just a plain black moleskine or is there something on the cover that you’ve painted?”Â
“I would love that.” Gigi breathed. The idea that someone would actually want to help her made a huge weight lift from her shoulders. “It’s just plain black on the outside but as soon as you open it it has flowers all over the inside with my name. I’m Gigi by the way.”
ripleywarbeck:
“you mean this?” ripley asked, holding up the small journal he found a bit ago. he didn’t know if it belonged to the girl, even if she said it was hers. “how do i know this is yours?” he asked.Â
“Rip, give it back. You very well know it’s mine. Who else has a book like that?” Of course, out of all the people who could’ve picked up what was probably Gigi’s most prized possession, it had to be the little worm that was Ripley. Without anything having even happened Gigi could feel the frustration fueled tears starting to bud behind her eyes. “It even has my name in the inner cover please just give it back.”
“Sorry to bother you, but um, have you seen a small black moleskine lying around here? Mine’s missing and I can’t find it anywhere.” Gigi knew she had left it somewhere on the pier, but couldn’t remember where. Her whole life was in that journal, and she didn’t know what she was going to do if she couldn’t find it.
concept: i collect stars and keep them alive in my pockets. on rainy days they warm my fingers. they whisper up to me “you are special, too, you shine just as brightly as us”

“All I’ve ever wanted was someone to be happy with, and for as long as I can remember I’ve always been most happy when I was with you.”
Like a wild flower; she spent her days, allowing herself to grow, not many knew of her struggle, but eventually all; knew of her light.

I show kindness to those who see it as a weakness. I give my time to those who see it as worthless. I let my quietness indulge their loudness. Then when I stand up and show my anger they all are shocked. Shocked as if I never felt pain. They were wrong.
