back on my tga bullshit likeeeeeee we as a fandom. as viewers. as a SOCIETY. don’t really explore the fact that, besides oscar, agnes had other children who have all died. like. that was confirmed. agnes literally said it herself. she’s lost children. plural. because it means that the only one who survived has been alienated from her in any meaningful, emotional way. and she has JUST realized how far they are from one another. i think we should talk about it more often because that, along with the little we know about the late mr van rhijn, explains how agnes became so jaded. not to say she isn’t a bitch but she IS a bitch with a backstory
