While on assignment for Look magazine, Milton Greene was sent to Europe in the summer of 1955 where he photographed a plethora of European and American movie stars. Milton photographed Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer at their home in Rome. This low-key yet elegant portrait captures Audrey in a beautiful dress with ribbons in her hair on the set of War and Peace, in 1955.
