Seriously, watch this video and see for yourself how he only brings up the gender debate for like 10 seconds in the middle of the video and even says ‘it doesn’t matter’

then search for ‘cinemassacre’ on Twitter and witness the hundreds of foaming morons (not just like random Tumblrite 14 year olds, actual film industry types and paid critics) genuinely acting like the whole 6 minutes of that video was him describing how he would murder each of the cast

(look out for the woman who seems to think the name ‘Cinemassacre’ is insensitive to murder victims)

This is actually a really good and well thought out video. Rolfe presents his view calmly and level headed, and even goes into some detail about the troubled history of Ghostbusters 3 and how it ultimately made this new movie

He does a great job of summing it up. The fact that this movie got made now just proves what a crock of Hollywood corporate fuckery it is. They called it Ghostbusters because they have to exploit a beloved franchise to attempt to make any money with a film that they clearly aren’t very confident in.

And, as always, the problem isn’t that the cast is all female.. The problem is that it’s a reboot of a movie that didn’t need a reboot and that no one wanted a reboot for.

James brings up some good points, but really I’d forgive all of that if the movie looked like it’d be even remotely good. It doesn’t.

But anyway, somehow what James said is so offensive that a Hollywood director/writer/producer saw it fit to call his wife a gold digger (???) to insult him.

Buncha scumbags. My favorite is Snider’s complete lack of self awareness in calling James a “man-baby” just because he disagrees with James’ opinion.

I am smh so hard rn. ironic a guy who plays an “anrgy nerd” character in his videos is pretty damn reasonable compared to HOLLYWOOD DIRECTORS who are currently being the ones who are acting like angry nerds themselves. It goes to show how immature these people are.

I freaking hate the current climate where people will just up and call you a bigot for not liking something that doesn’t revolve around a straight white man.

You can put all the representation you want in your movie but if it’s garbage, it’s garbage. And even if the new ghostbusters didn’t look like crap, I still wouldn’t be seeing it either just for the sheer disrespect that Sony has been giving the original cast over it.

My point on this its…are Hollywood affraid of this person? they know AVGN have a huge target audience, when the firts clip of the new Ghostbusters showed up a lot of people maked videos about how awfull its gonna be and dont was a huge buzz besides the normal group of people sensitive to opinions.

But then comes AVGN giving his own points and everthing goes apeshit, they be so desesperated to chock him and rape his opinion over and over, quiet it the fastest way posible and put a wall around it, that…make me wonder, are they affraid about how bad the movie its gonna in the box office?
