“Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.”
— Carl Jung (via psych-facts)
You know this to be true when you’re about to share your truth and every fiber of your being wants to escape, shut down, cry out, shatter itself into pieces.
This happened last night before I spoke to a crowd about kink and self-exploration. The voice inside going “they won’t like this, this which is you, they won’t like you, nobody will like you. You will share the important parts and you will be left to rot in the abyss.”
