Let's begin our look back at the civilization that was Ancient Egypt with a basic look at some of the traditionally accepted history.

Beginning around 3150 BC, the first pharaoh unified Upper and Lower Egypt which lead to the evolution of several Kingdoms for the next few thousand years. The fertile conditions of the Nile River Valley created a surplus of crops and allowed the culture to develop and thrive.

Many of the recognized achievements of the ancient Egyptians include advanced surveying and construction techniques which lead to the building of monumental pyramids, temples and obelisks, as well as successful systems of mathematics, medicine, agriculture and irrigation, the development of an independent writing system, the creation of the first know ships, and even an elaborate system of religious beliefs (depicted in this image).

There is no doubt the culture and monuments of ancient Egypt have left a lasting legacy on the world.To this day, new information is being analyzed and debated by Egyptologists potentially leading to a rewriting of our shared history.

For many moons, we’ve been crafting an unforgettable 3 day event for us to come together and share an outstanding adventure of a lifetime. From the enchanting streets of Cairo to the mysterious passageways of the king’s chamber, there will be mystical moments waiting for us around every corner.

The itinerary and plan of this gathering is still unfolding and will continue to do so until we all emerge in Egypt, but in the meantime here is a little, flavorful taste of what you can expect starting with Day 1:

Upon our arrivals, we will make our way to Giza, home of the Great Pyramids. After settling in at our hotels, we will have an initial poolside meet and greet followed by a series of presentations, panels and discussions to engage our curiosities about the mythical stories of this land, the unfathomable megalithic structures, and this historical, prophesized moment in time.

In the evening we’ll take pleasure in the charming poolside persian gardens of the Mercure Hotel with an eclectic mix of some of the top music and artists from the west coast dance culture.
