This is a blog dedicated to my Cookie Run: Kingdom Au I have on Hoyolab and Youtube called “Ash and Flour”, or A&F for short! I’m still sorting out the plot, so things are often prone to change, but I mostly enjoy drawing my redesigns for them. Beyond this post, some things be narrated by Black Sapphire Cookie as his fourth-wall-breaking gimmick is a large part of how I present things in my W.I.P.s.

This blog is run by @theworldisbutastage (we also have an oc side blog, @theworldisbutastage-ocblog ). you can call me Frin, Sif, or Sapph. Unless you’re one of my friends from Hoyolab, then you can call me whatever the fuck you want because bestie privileges.
I’ve gotten DMs and comments asking (these were bots and I’m putting this here so I KNOW future comments are bots because a living being would be able to reference this), but no, I do not do commissions on any of my blogs at this time and will keep deleting comments from the bots asking, but I do take requests for fun though if you, a real person, want to send an ask in!

Not done yet (as I’d had to pause this for a while for a collab), but obsessed with this frame currently because he looks like such a gremlin.
Also because of this project one of my friends associates Abnormality Dancing Girl (the song this is for) with Black Sapphire and I’m like so smug about that. Like yes bestie lemme rewrite your worldview around my blorbo rq.
I looked back at my pieces and the common denominator appears to be that my eyes, despite varying shapes, are on all on the bigger side, and I don’t shy away from making my characters rounder instead of twigs. I think that might be “the ways”?? Idk. I’m not sure what it is I do to provoke such reactions, but that’s the best I’ve got.

It’s a game where, with my habit of absorbing the artstyle of whatever I’m into at the time or at the very least borrowing elements (though there was one time my level up was completely unrelated to the media’s artstyle), you try to guess which one I’m using now based on a few shots from my current project!
You do not have to participate, I’m just bored and want to see if it’s close enough for anyone to get it despite being applied to a character from an entirely different franchise. As while I can do it with certain canon characters, that doesn’t really say much because I actively have their sprite as ref.
The eye in that one frame is directly referenced from Loopert, whilst everything else is just vaguely stylized with aspects I referenced from Siffrin sprites. As it was more direct, that’s why I included it as a hint.
Tdlr; eyeball was hint bc my references are Siffrin and loop sprites and that eyeball was plagiarized from it /silly :3
