〰These boots are made for walking. Meet my dr. Martens, over 5 years old, secondhand and yes; made of leather. Explanation: yes I am living on a plant based foodstyle. Yes I do wear (SECONDHAND) leather. Some vegans find this horrifying, but I have reasons: 1. I will only wear/purchase secondhand leather items, this way the animals are not killed for me, in my opinion I give these items a second life. 2. I never overbuy anything, I don't bulk on secondhand leather items. 3. Leather is a very durable material. 4. I keep in mind that an animal did lose his life in order to 'serve' humans and I find it a better option to still wear these items rather then throwing it all in the trash. Vegans wearing animal products is a very touchy subject (in fact you are not even fully vegan if you do so).
