last year, I got hooked on Hyrule Warriors (its gameplay is really fun I highly recommend it), and I wanted to draw Lana, cause I like her design. However, about halfway through sketching her, I realize how insanely detailed her design is. So the drawing took half a week longer, and I learned that next time I draw a character this detailed, I should probably take some time to look at the details and mentally prepare myself before diving in

this was done for a free zine over at thenintendogirls club on dA. when i first saw the idea, i felt like why not try out, not to mention i’d use any excuse to draw these two.
anyways, they always struck me as the type to drink tea. i also hc that zelda invites them over for tea sessions from time to time at hyrule castle.
