the best thing about rulette 2 is that i do think it adds substantial mechanical improvements to the game design of the first iteration — paul and sam as ‘players’ intended to follow and be called out on rules, interesting new rules/prompts/modifiers, the golden rule concept, etc. — but all of that slowly but surely becomes overshadowed by josh ruben landing by chance on all of the specific rules that transform him into a baby-themed tongue-heavy gyrating monster

I actully do love that the Vought in universe social media accounts are still going, since they have to golden opportunity to chronically a social media pivot of the highest degree.

The only thing that would make it better would be if they were also running a private account of the social media manager having a meltdown.

I was thinking about what would happen if Make Some Noise had an Um Actully moment where Sam steps down as host to free up some time. Who would take his place?

The challenge is that you’d want it to be someone associated with the show, but not someone you would miss doing improv too much. Here are some ones I’ve noodled on, but I love to hear others thoughts:

-Zac/Josh: A noise boy would be obvious, and I think if Brennen put another show under his belt he might collapse. That said, this is exactly the problem of not seeing either of them as a contestant anymore if they’re a host.

Demi: I ranked my brain for dropout people who aren’t regulars on make some noise and don’t already have shows, and they were the first one in through of. He also feels like he can bring the same energy sam brings as a host. That said, them not being a MSN person might feel like a random choice for the show.

Elaine(?) - She’s talented but also hasn’t been on MSN. I’ll be real I started this list as a hypothetical but really ran into some blanks. The big sticking point is losing a performer to gain a host. Like I wouldn’t deny the work Lisa gilroy as a player if it meant her hosting.

I’m curious what others think!!!

I’m glad Arkco is having a moment since the anime started. Not that the fandom didn’t really give the ship any attention, but there is an understandably and well deserved Yaoi wave coming with The Fucking Shit Going On Between Those Two Men that can sometimes take most of the attention away from two girls figuring it out.

I hope that the Epic movie has a whole new cast. I love Jorge’s Odysseus, but he did his full and honest Odysseus performance in the OG album. Let’s see a new vocal take on these characters.
