I did a thing
There is nothing anyone can say that invalidates your right to exist on this earth.
You are not here to please everyone you encounter. You are allowed to exist.

Sometimes you just need to hear how much you mean to someone

“Your body sank into my sea;”
— Gertrud Kolmar, from Dark Soliloquy: The Selected Poems; “The Sea-Monster,”
I’ve always had an uncomfortable relationship with my self confidence. Many times in the past, I was beat down emotionally by the men I thought I loved. I was told I’d be prettier if I lost weight, or I should do this with my body, I should do that, I should change this or change that. I thought I was never good enough, never pretty enough and my body wasn’t hot enough. I’ve grown significantly since that Hannah, but I still struggle with my self confidence at times. When I do struggle, I always resort back to that mindset. Even though I may love myself, I can be weak. Sometimes I need to hear how beautiful I am, how sexy I am or how perfect I am, because I constantly tell myself that, but I don’t always believe it. I just keep saying to get me through that low moment. I struggle with comparing myself to others on social media, thinking oh I’ll never look like that. And recently that’s been happening a lot more than I’d like to admit.
