any dog lovers in the New York/New Jersey area?

this is sort of a desperate last resort for me, but I’m just throwing it out there just in case. I kinda hate using Tumblr for this because I don’t fully trust this website, but… I know sometimes people find help on here.

I need an answer within one or two weeks at most (so by like… April 10 2018)

My girlfriend is a currently homeless trans girl. I don’t want to give more details about her so as to maintain her safety and privacy. She rescued a dog a while back (a pitbull-bulldog mix) from abusive dog-fighters, and he was a big help for her in dealing with terrible life situations and mental illness. But due to homelessness, she can’t take care of him.

My family is taking care of the dog right now but I’m at school and my parents physically and emotionally cannot take care of the dog for much longer. Right now, our plan is to give him away to a pit rescue or another organization that will find a family for him without returning him to the people who abused him. My girlfriend won’t be able to see him again, but he will be safe… but it will suck. That is, unless we find someone who is willing to take him for an indefinite period of time, foster him, and would be willing to give updates to my girlfriend or possibly allow visits, until she finds a living situation that allows dogs.

If you live in the New York or New Jersey area, and you are capable of taking care of a pitbull, please contact me. We’ll have to work out details (for example, how long you are willing to take care of him) but if you answer before April 10 or so, we can take some time to figure it out. We will drive the dog to you, provide you with a leash and a bag of his food, tell you his needs, etc. He’s up to date on shots and is the easiest dog ever except for the fact that he is very big. (but seriously, he is content doing nothing most of the day and he never barks and is very obedient)

um.... im probably not the best person to ask about this... can anyone help out??

So in terms of the breakup... What does this mean for you and your blog?

I mean, I'm obviously a little disheartened at hearing what happened, however, I'm still very happy that Ingrid and Hannah have built a strong friendship, and I'm glad that they are still at a good place with each other. As for this blog, I've already been somewhat neglecting it. I just haven't had any time at all to update it or even watch their videos at all to be honest. And once the Hangrid hype started to die down, I found myself just becoming less interested in Tumblr. From time to time I'm sure I'll reblog some Hannah or Ingrid related posts, but this blog will probably just end up not being used. I may convert it to another YouTube-related type thing at some point, or I may not. Thank you guys so much for following me, though! I really appreciate all of the support you have all given me. Adieu for now!
